this has nothing to do with right / left brain and is just an optical illusion

for real, the relationship between the left and right hemispheres of the brain (and the bridges between) is way too complex to even be estimated by an optical illusion, which is about processing imagery so it's not really an even test of both sides' capacities anyway... still, these images are great for their intended purpose: entertainment :D

also to me it looks like the extended leg always inscribes a clockwise circle, like whoever made the gif should have paid better attention to the model's orientation and maybe used an orthographic instead of a perspective view to render from if they were trying to make it spin ambiguously :v but I'm not about to pull it apart frame by frame to check, besides it would ruin TEH MYSTERY!!
