Terence's Tribulations
Are you talking about the slimes in the village at the start? I didn't have any trouble with the last one. Kill the flunkies first. Then hit it with holy attacks before it uses the move that resists them, keep healed, and then hit it with holy attacks again when the protection wears off.

Final Quest - The disciple's journey
This game is a blast! It makes collecting the skills really fun. I've almost beat it and I can't say enough good things about it :D

Yay, I finished my little comical action-puzzle-RPG joke game. Beautiful, nonsensical success.
Download Tale Of Alice (No RTP) here (1MB)
(I kinda had to upload the no RTP version just in case I didn't get it in on time. Apologies.)
I don't see a gamepage for this yet so I'll just say it here. Just finished this game and found it cute, lighthearted, funny, and fun. :D
[VX ACE] Turn Indicator in Side View Battle?
My game's got a side-view battle system with a CTB system (thanks to both Kread-EX's Animated Battlers and Fomar0153's Compatible Customisable ATB/Stamina Based Battle System).
When a characters turn starts, there is a glowy box over the character whose turn it is.
(Here's a screenshot.)
But I've had feedback that this isn't good enough and people would like something else, like the sprite glowing, to show more clearly the character's turn. Is there a way to do this that's compatible with both Kread-Ex's and Fomar's scripts?
A huge thanks to anyone who can help. I apologize ahead of time, but I'm pretty script-dumb.

Best of luck to everyone! I've played around ten of these and a lot of them show promise.
In the subject of future contest gam mak, is there generally any form of heads-up before they start, or does everyone find out when the event page pops up on the top of the RMN site?

A new download? Let the festivities commence!
I wouldn't worry too much about it if no-one else is getting it. My desktop is ancient and has a lot of problems. I just wanted to mention it in case it was a common problem.
Is the game on hiatus again? Is another RMN contest starting up?

No, I wasn't loading from the old demo. This was all in the new demo. It may just be my computer, so I'll try it on my laptop and see.
Help Me (And You) Draft Up A Design Outline (fo' yo gamez)
Great post, Craze! :D Yeah, I pretty much have to write everything down in Google Docs or I will forget.
Yeah, I've only made one gamepage here so far but I was amazed at the amount of focus I got from "I need to make enough resources to make a good game page." It made a great checkpoint from getting a gamepage up to getting a demo made.

Once I have enough to make examples of the aesthetic I am after, I start making a gameprofile on RMN. I find that rewriting and refocusing what I have for PRESENTATION to an outside audience helps put a different perspective on the project that improves it overall, and the motivation is nice, too.
