Game 'Publisher' PM Spam

I'm not sure whether to be relieved that I did not receive a spam offer or feel left out. These are some very confusing times for me.

The word respite gives me a sense of nostalgia for some reason. So I say good idea it is.

Adaeus is Greenlit!

This is breath of fresh air on this bleak day. Congrats!

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

I too have Skyrim Special Edition for PS4 after playing only a little bit of the original on PC.

I've been playing the hell out of it and it's the first time I "get" the Elder Scrolls craze. I tried to get into Morrowind, but I feel like that's more of a project. I might go back to it one day and finally beat the main quest at least.

I did do Oblivion's main quest and Fighter's Guild a couple years back. While I enjoyed it, I thought it was heavily flawed and overall needed a lot of work. The story was interesting enough, but I felt it was told in a really dry way.

Skyrim, I feel like it got it right. It's a lot more relaxing to play. I did the Companion's quest line and the Civil War. I'm at the end of the main quest line. I feel like some people might disagree, but not having to worry about armor repair and limiting the amount of stats to level up really vastly improved the game for me. The gameplay additions, the world, and overall writing also took a great step up.

I'm super invested in the world of Skyrim and actually have a good grasp of it all. The writing, while still goofy and stale at times, is actually quite interesting for the most part. It's by far the least amount of glitches I've encountered in these games, but still has its fair share of them.

While I quite enjoy the game, it still has a lot of flaws. I won't even say anything more about the overall writing and character of the game. Witcher 3 does EVERYTHING right in that regard and I feel like Bethesda should take example of how well that was done.

The whole marriage thing is cool and all, but it feels more awkward than Star Wars Episode 2 romance. For one, there is NO romance. I married Lydia and her dialogue is super dry and weird. She talks in this robotic voice. The game needs a lot of work in developing relations with npcs. If it's half assed, then it probably shouldn't be in at all.

All in all, Skyrim is awesome. It is convincing me to try Fallout 4 sometime soon as well.

Soma Spirits

Congrats on the very much deserved feature! I should continue my playthrough of this already seeing how I loved Yuusha and the beginning of this.

Three Ghostly Roses Release

Yep! Got a big chunk of the game done during that event. Was actually very helpful at motivating me to actually put work on it. Then my problem was that I finished too fast and needed some time to reflect upon certain plot points of the story and game design choices. All in all, I think everything worked out for the best.

The Demo is Here! :D

Nice! I'll give this a try when I have time.

Three Ghostly Roses Release

Thanks everyone! The download count officially passed the demo one, which to me is a milestone. I look forward to see how more people like the game!

Plains_Update_1.png

This is an updated version of how the Plains look. I think the fog and red water make it a bit more unsettling.
