Looks good, not much to say on it cause theirs nothing that doesn't seem out of place or anything. The other was a replica of Meiscools example right?
Yeah it was. And I still couldn't do EVERYTHING
he did in the map. But it did allow me to learn how
to use the chip well enough to make my own now.

Yeah I did the same thing as well with my maps using it..





But differed a bit more by making the areas seem bigger an expansive. These are old screens though so I think the second maps different now. It's a really good tile once you get used to it.
A bit too empty for my liking, but good, none-the-less.

More forest from RS. One of these days I'll make a game that has no forest maps. They get a bit annoying and repetitive after a while. X.X

Liberty, I like the edited trees. Even the slope looks really awesome, I don't have any complaints with the map. Excellent use of RTP.

*cough*Definately not inspired by Hero's Realm*cough* But seriously I like it myself, in fact the DBS you got there on that project is pretty cool. It reminds me of my current project I'm working on: Hall of the Slain.


This is all the sneak peak you're going to get.
@Liberty: You know I love RTP, but the area around the tree stump looks odd. At a quick glance it looks like the stump is blocking water from flooding the grass - which is just weird.

@Darken: Ew, gross!
@darken - That is one ug-ly monster. ^.^ I like the front battle style you've got going. A return to the past works well. ^.~ And yes, I was inspired by kentona's HR, but also DQ games.

@Neo: I obsessed about that stupid slope and finally got one thatt worked, so expect to see more like it. ^.^

@Feld: Thanks. I try my best with the RTP and it's true that the DQ/FF characters work a treat with it.

Lol. Still like it tho. The monster that is. Well not as a vagina, but as a monster. Yea I dont really care for vaginas spitting out green goo. If you do.......well I heard billy is cheap. So...
@Darken: I like it when stats like HP starts quite low like yours, I hate being over-whelmed right at the start. I think that's the first time i've seen RM2K3 DBS with characters not at the side. Go you!

@Liberty: That's why they call you the RTPrincess <33 IMO forests are the most fun to create.

@Tau: Needs more pointless random junk in the way, though the actual design is great!
@Liberty: Uhhh, you know how to handle the RTP. But I'm not quite happy with the edited trees. They could use some highlighting, like the original ones have. Aside from that, very nice work :).

I'm used to write screeds for my screenshots, but these should do fine on there own :]:
Excellent use of REFMAP. I don't see any problems
besides the first screen on the top left, but
that's not a map error, at least I don't think

@Darken: I like the look of this DBS, nice, clean and neat.

I have acopule new screens, but honestly all I have is a battle systems and the games script completed. Luckily these were the hardest parts of production and with them done, mapping won't be an issue.







Ok, Finally Uploaded. Not that bad in action Fraps and I messed it up. I need to add the Voice Acting and such, but that will wait until the Demo.

@ Hergezod - This is a great example of what map making should be! Where looking at it, it doesn't look confusing or too much full of clutter, and also very colorful! What project is this anyways? Or...are you just playing around trying to think of something?

@ Ashramaru - Okay I watched the entire video twice, and I must say...the music choice was awesome! It really pumps you up, and everything else was executed very well for a DBS. The only things that will probably bug some people (although you will probably adjust this in time) is the speed. (A bit too slow) And the quote before the battle, which is cool...but after a couple of battles the player might be a bit annoyed, I wouldn't mind if they said something before the battle, but it needs to be quick. Still a very wonderful job and you were right! 10x better in-game! ^^

Oh and Liberty I forgot about you, another nice forest map. ^^
@Hergezod - I totally agree with silver4donuts. Your maps are packed, yet not filled with unneccessary cluter. (I love the town. How you shadow the places blocked from the sun. ^^)

@Ashramaru - Whoa. I didnt think much of it until I saw the video. The battle system looks great and the layout of it is amazing. Makes me want to fix up mine. Lol. Oh I also check out the Tales of Falonia.
