MY SCREENSHOT IS BIGGER THAN YOURS!

Oh yeah I think that's indeed better. And by the way, sometimes it's best to keep something in mind and no need to keep improving until you don't know how no more - make sure you get a good quantitative progress as well as qualitative.
Slums.

Where is the hero? He's sleeping in the abandoned car, of course!
Style looks pretty consistent; screenshot's a little small, but from what I can tell the tilesets are looking great. What game is this, by the way?
I love the look of that scene. Very atmospheric.
It's just a practice map. :o I might implement it into an actual game, which i'll probably start pretty soon.
That's very well done indeed. Where'd the car graphic come from? It's actually of like, decent size.

Not technically a screen-shot, but..

I don't know, I thought it was in every Zozo chipset?

Euphorian, nice animation! The style of your character is particulary interesting.
o.o I wouldn't know. I've never actually seen it before. I assumed it was in charsets or something though.

And thanks. The character is a dancer, so her attacks are based off of her dance moves. Hah, or did you mean the graphical style? >.<

Is that a Fire Emblem edit?

That's what I thought of as well.
^^ Nice that we're seeing some graphics besides those used in Final Fantasy.

Note the heroes are on level 10. No 1000+ HP at level 10 in this game!

I think the monsters would look better with a custom battle background, how do I do that in RMVX (if possible)?
Why are VX backgrounds always that weird swirly shit?
That's a silly question. It's the default setting.

But yes, you can change it. I would suggest looking at a scripting site, like rpgmakervx.net or rmxp.org.

It would be awesome if we could be like "hey, go visit our RMVX section" but we seemed to have missed that boat as well.

...Believe me, I agree. But I'm not trying to be un-helpful!

Is that a Fire Emblem edit?
It is. The original pose was edited from Eirika of FE8, however all the motion is edited off of that original pose, so it's most like I'm just using the FE standing positions as a human body template.
