I... wows... that's quite a night, Cave dog is now dead, we have no idea what he was either! Tangled fell victim to a Vigi attack.
Not to mention we lost our blacksmith to a lynch and also lost Xoe.... this is a disasterous day 1/night 1
Also I'm curious, do you think Cave had a role? And what about the Vigisword, was it held by the mafia or just an accident by a towny?

I think Cave is gonna die at night.
This is mildly disturbing. I could only assume that mafia killed cave because he said something... Still, why would cap say this in the first place?
Maybe the Black Mage used deceit, Cap was mafia, and the real blacksmith is still alive? Wait, no, magic is night-phase only, right?
I'd assume it's only night-phase, yeah. I think it's more likely that cave got killed for this post:

The other problem with your theory is that the mafia doesn't get much from that course of action besides confusion - and day 2 is already a bit of a crapshoot so it'd serve mafia better if they waited on that.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Cave dog died on night 1, nobody could possibly know what his role was unless the seer investigated him. Even if they did, I'm sure they wouldn't be dumb enough to say so just to satisfy your curiosity.
That's true, but the mafia still used their assassination on cave. The only reason I could think they'd do that is they suspected there was a good chance cave was some role.
Shit, you know what? Who was on Tangled_Lion or CAVE's case back at day 1?
I'm especially concerned about Tangled_Lion because there is a chance the vigilante sword came from mafia, and pinning down who killed Tangled could point us there as a result.

Just the odds that a townie had it. I dont know why we are so strong to believe that mafia had it when the more likely case it that it was one of us.
To tell the truth, I had it. Or rather, Xoe had it, but was modkilled, so it was transferred to me. I ended up killing Tangled, sorry

I mean yeah, there was an 8 out of 11 chance that town had it. Higher if you consider that there's a nonzero chance that Blobofgoo decided it should start with town.

Several people thought TangledLion was acting suspiciously, and he screwed up incredibly badly when he outed both himself and Ratty based on a bad assumption in Pianotm's game, so he was a really obvious choice for town to kill and a really dumb choice for mafia to kill. But even if he was killed by mafia there's not a whole fuckin' lot you can discern from that, since mafia had no info about anyone either and would have been attacking blindly.
