Most RTP Game Award
The game that best uses the engine's default resources
Doesn't have to be the best of games, but uses the engines default resources the best. And this isn't limited to RPG Maker, since there are a few other engines out there that have default resources, even if they are not called RTP (Visual Novel Maker, for example.) Some engines are not possible, such as Game Maker or Unity.
The game doesn't need to be 100% RTP, but needs to have enough RTP to show that it uses it very well.
I just want more than one nomination this year. If there weren't so many other events going on I might even suggest an event for it, but as it stands its getting a bit late in the year and there is a lot going on right now.

I still haven't gotten around to playing that. But had you never gotten nominated then we wouldn't even have a winner for last year. But I'll still try to get at least 2 nominations for most RTP this year. I mean it's not like no one didn't make a game using RTP.

Lobster Quest was almost all RTP and is also clearly the best of all possible gams.
Update - Now have 264 nominations, that's 25 more than last time I checked.
Going a bit slow right now. Think it will pick up after that big IGMC event going on.
Also, I recently got an achievement that I never knew existed. So that's cool too.
Guess if you post a thread and have it put on the front page you can get a pokemon achievement. So far I have collected 3 pokemon achievements:
Writing , I choose you!
Video, I choose you!
Community Minded? I choose you!
Anyone know what the other pokemon achievements are? Gotta get them all.

Dumb question, if my game gets nominated, will it be judged based on the base game or with Trancevania DLC also included?

If it gets nominated, it'll be up for a public vote.
That said, I'm sorry to say your game can't be nominated. A) It needs a download submitted, and B) it doesn't look like commercial games can be nominated for Misaos in the first place, even with a public download.

That's not to say that a commercial game can't win a Misaos.
1) Release a great game for free.
2) Win a Misaos.
3) Make a commercial version of your game.

(Though the game page hasn't changed it's commercial status.)

That's technically correct. Other examples are Soma Spirits and Last Word. I say technically correct because, in all of those instances, the free games won the Misaos, not the commercial ones.

Why not? I did submit the game here and I made it in 2017. I did have a button link to download it too but Liberty wanted me to remove it.
Besides, in that case Save Your Mother would have qualified for Misaos anyway. (Since I technically released it again this year and it was a free game here long time ago in 2012 before I totally redid it from ground up and released it as commercial)

At the very least there needs to be something you can download to get nominated.
That's just part one of why you won't get nominated.
Without going into the rule against nominating commercial games.
Also, updating a game usually doesn't count unless the status changes
from demo to completed. (In some cases a game can win 2 years in a row if all the stars align correctly.)
And let's pretend you can get nominated?
Who would vote for your game?
People usually vote for games they have played to completion.
Your games cost money.
People on RMN are poor (Just ask Kentona... Kidding... Maybe?)
Now I'm going to go into RMN's reasons as to why we don't nominate commercial games. It's because RMN is for beginning indie game developers. Commercial indie games can win awards all their own (Steam has wards, etc...) And commercial titles usually have more money behind them than games put on RMN.
And think. RMN is giving you a platform to advertise your game for free. Your commercial game gets attention here and Kentona gains nothing from it. I think that's a world of benefit on its own.

The status did change majorly, the game was literally unavaivable from the entire internet and did get released earlier this year. That's around the time the game was featured on RPG Maker net. I had buttons but Liberty told me to remove them. You can talk to her about that.
I know a lot of people have played the game and bought it.
I really don't have that much money going into my games than average RMN games, I always spent money into making my games even when they were free, the only difference is that now I get something back.
I'm really not some big enterprise guy sitting in ivory tower, you know? I'm just a one person team.
Kentona gains nothing from freeware games either, what's your point?
