Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

I'm so stoked to see how far you've come, LusterMX.

Haha, I'm fairly certain I remember the day you rolled up your youtube account. I remember the first few Lunar Wish videos.

"I hope I can be as popular as you lot, someday". I think you outdid us all, dude.

Three, four years ago? Those were the days; with Zachfoss, Luishu, Hunter, etc. I've long deleted my account, (and adopted a new username, though I doubt you'd remember my old user anyways) but it's awesome to see how you've kept at it. Truly inspiring stuff. Few ever actually complete a project they've started.

Needless to say, t-minus 2 minutes until my download is complete. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Thank you PhantomLimb!
Haha, those were certainly the days! It was when youtube still did groups and there was a group that was dedicated for RPG maker videos. Before I really got started on my project, I used to watch plenty of those kinds of videos to draw inspiration.
It was really fun to upload videos and see what others thought at the time; the comments were all very encouraging and I probably wouldn't have completed this, if it weren't for that!
I had a lot of fun playing through this!
From the intro I thought it was going to be a self-serious RPG, but I ended up loving the ridiculous, light-hearted characters and tongue-in-cheek humor. I made sure to talk to every NPC since even the minor dialogue was often quite amusing.
(My only minor complaint is that the ending felt a little abrupt, but I suppose that comes with making games in episodic format.)

Great stuff, I'll be looking forward to the next installment!

No monster drops an item is found only rarely. In the swamp and the cave has one. Some are found do not sell or use to exchange for items
This gonna be my next fave RPG Maker Games! However, I've found a bug. Here's the screenshot

Sadly, there's no save point. :(
Eeepyr!
Well, the event there is set to through.
Some workarounds about that may be to save all the other children first, then save her.
I'm not too sure what's going on there to be honest, because it hasn't happened before to me O.o
I'm really sorry about that!
Nevermind. I managed to get out from that quest somehow. Just done by little a 'trick'.

There's a suggestion I would like to tell you. what if you move those transparent 'child' event to another place, so it won't block the way anymore.

I'm sorry, I'm not good in english

Anyway, thanks for this awesome game.
Hope the second part released ASAP
Everytime I try to play it a thing pops up saying RPGVX RTP is not found. I have tried to reinstal it but no matter what it happens

What effect does leveling up skills have? Only some of them display increased MP costs. Do all skills grow more powerful upon leveling up, even though their MP costs don't change?

I'm particularly curious about Falk's Team Cannon skill. Is the attack raise to the party affected by the skill's level? If not, I'm confused as to why I would level it up at all.
There are actually three levels of each positive stat buff, which is indicated by extra arrows. Obviously, a maxed out Team Cannon will give lvl 3 attack buffs to the party.
Missing 3 ultimates and one quest. Went through the whole map a thousand times and nothing! Any hints for Kross/Cindy/Fate ultimates? And how do you start the "Bun-Bunneh" quest? Saw it in a pict posted here, but can't start it!

Also, I've 'found' a bug. Don't know for sure how I trigged it, but in Mt. Gelato, twice, I did something and then became able to walk through everything! And with that, managed to find a second Grape Coke, on the Ice Temple, where you defeat the first boss. But some time after starting, it corrects itself and stops working
@Tikow
Kross' ultimate can be found using the specs in Tag's Lab at the right end.
Fate's ultimate can be found by bringing the correct items to the Shady Man in at the Tyrone Armor Shop.
Cindy's ultimate is that she needs to wear her uniform, have her at the front of the party and then take from the Coke Fountain.

The glitch where you can walk through everything... Is because of the Zippo, I believe. If you use it between transitioning maps, that glitch may occur. I haven't heard about that grape coke one though.

Thanks man (: Any hints for the quest? And the Grape Coke was funny, because the sprit that appeared on the floor was more like those jars for HP/mana, and it was in a place impossible to reach, so there shouldn't be anything there

Kross should return in the laboratory to find. Cindy has sidquest the armor shop that has to be done with the help of 5 crystals that will be asked and can be obtained by fighting monsters with the swamp and on top of Mt Frosty struggled with a boss you will obtain one coke. Fate takes two accessories provided by the elder rabbit blue. Sera red eyeball need to get done. After exchanged in shop armor, the man red clothing.

Just realized, missing Nya's ultimate too. Any hints?
I think completing the bunny quest gets you Nya's ultimate. You should be able to start it by using one of the gadgets in Loki's house.
Thanks for the help guys, finished with a 100% thanks to you (:
I've found another bug.

It was happened when I use Auto-Life. And the battle ended after Gummy use Gummy's Slam (I forgot what is her skill name). It's seems the "continue when lose" condition didn't meet I guess.
