In the dream of a child stands an ancient manor filled with forsaken fancies and empty memories. Mysterious yet familiar to the child that wanders the lifeless house. What lies at the start of waking? Is this truly a dream? A memory? An illusion or reality?

Odd... Try clicking on the Downloads header and choosing one of the files (I think the RSW one is the newest). I tried using the download button and that works fine for me. What browser are you using? Can you download from other game pages?

Are you playing full screen or windowed? It's odd that that would happen - I don't think I've ever heard of that bug. Is it just this game or any 2k3 game? Have you tried others?

It's only this game that does it, i don't know how to turn it to window view. I've tried your other links too. Can you tell me how to make it windowed?
Having a cutscene issue after you select "Observe the mirror with the hand mirror" got an error regarding seeing it, it just shutdown the game. But i get this message:
"No such interface Supported".

Oh man... Do you have the newest version? There was an issue with an avi file that was used in the older version of the game, but it should be fixed in the new one. If it still plays up, there might be an issue with codecs on your side, in that case, just skip the mirror scene - it's not necessary to the progress of the game to actually go in that room (though there is stuff that you can see and a hint in a hidden area there.)
But, yeah, if it's the newest version, I have no idea how to fix it beyond what is already done. Maybe a google search for the error in conjunction with avi files?
Oh, here's a topic about the same issue. It seems to be a codec issue, so check to make sure you have the proper codecs for .avi files installed to your computer. A simple google search can help you find some, I believe.

Maybe... divx? It's a media player - since you need them to actually play avi files - but it's a decent one. You should probably check which video player you currently have on your computer and either update the codecs for it or get a new one.

Since it is such an issue, maybe right before the video plays you could add an option of whether or not to play it. In anycase, windowed mode has worked for some in the past, just press f4 before the video loads. It shouldn't crash, at least. You could watch the video outside the game within it's folder, if you cared.

Hi, I'm not sure what the issue is, but I am at a certain point in the game where nothing is moving forward. I know I need the sun key, but the bath tub just refuses to fill. The sink keeps saying I need some kind of suction tool, and I am just... at a loss. I would really like to continue the game, I have enjoyed every moment of it, but right now I don't know if that will be feasible. I feel really lame too, like I am just missing something or don't have enough patience, but no matter what I do... I can't fix the issue. Help?

If I'm reading the handy-dandy walkthrough right, in order to get the Sun Key in the Kitchen, you first need the journal from the Servant's Quarters. To get the journal, you need to get to the Living Room and find the knife there.

Yeah, to get the Sun Key in the Bathroom, you need the knife in the Loungeroom to grab the journal in the Servant's Quarters (in the chimney). Then you need to go into the bathroom, look near the sink and listen for the sound that you knocked something over. Leave the bathroom and go back in. If it doesn't trigger, leave again and enter. Then just wait a few moments and it should trigger the bath to fill.

Ah, update. It turns out that there was a bug with the coding and it stopped you from progressing to get the sun key. I've added a patch to the page. Download and add the Map file to the game folder and allow it to replace. That should fix it right up. Thanks for letting me know and sorry for taking so long to double-check! >.<;
