Plot Overview

In the world of Linguardia, the nations of Rikalia and Dorent are the reigning powers. Although both leaders have been at peace for centuries, a dark cloud is on the horizon. King Richard, leader of the Rikalian Empire, has recently lost his wife and daughter to a pack of demons. Now, his mind twisted from grief, Richard is on a quest for domination. His plan: to harness the power of the six legendary crystals, which, according to scriptures, will bestow the wielder with unimaginable powers if brought together. With Richard on a path of destruction to collect the crystals, war seems inevitable.

Players take control of Epoch Lander, Captain of Richard's Dragon Knights, an elite force within the Rikalian Empire. However, when Epoch begins questioning the morals behind Richard's actions, he is arrested for treason and sentenced to death. With his head full of unanswered questions, Epoch must decide whether to accept his fate or fight for what he believes to be the greater good: even if it means fighting alone.

Soundtrack Complete!

Jose has just finished the last two songs of the soundtrack, bringing the OST to a grand total of 36 songs. With those final two, the Forever's End soundtrack is now complete! I really have to thank Jose for all the hard work he put into these songs. They all sound fantastic, and I can't wait to release the next episode with them implemented. Great job, bro!

Do know though, there are a few songs that will be included with the game that aren't custom. Not many, but a few, mainly because some of my cutscenes were already built around these songs. However, all of the ones included on this gamepage are the custom ones composed by Jose.

With the soundtrack complete, I thought I'd list out a few of my personal favorites. If you have any favorites, please comment and show Jose some love.

Traveling - Overworld Theme

The Reprieve

Dangerous Wilderness

The Death Knight - Marcellus' Theme

Spiritualization

Journeying Forward

Cutting a Path

In the Heat of Battle - Boss Theme 2

A Dying Planet's Last Breath

Any news on the bug fix? I'd love to get back to playing, but I'm kinda stuck right before the fight with Kenshin.. and I -really- wanna beat him XD

Yeah, sorry about that. This bug is a little harder to nip in the butt than I thought. Should have it up here soon though.

What just even read did I?
really!..............
@Dragol : you can barely write any dialogue in english, normal you're Russian, but how, then, can you have such a specific opinion on english dialogues written by an english-speaking person???!!!
Also, after playing the whole demo, that's all you found to say!!!!!!!!!

I just STARTED playing it. And I can read and understand just as good as you.

The writing isn't as bad as some people are making it out to be. Seriously. Go play Final Fantasy VII if you want bad writing :P

Go troll somewhere else... that's OLD. And cheap for you.

About FE... the battle music... it's... er, not catchy.

You've got some very, very nice artwork, Dragol! (looked at your profile) But as for Forever's End goes, just play it, nobody's trolling you!
FF7 had a bad English (and German, for that matter) localization because it was basically one poor guy working on a game with a massive script and shitty font problems.

As for FE, even if Dragol is not a native speaker of English, it is obviously still possible for the story, characters, and dialogue to come across as drab to him.
The battle music, I believe, is from Shadow Hearts.. it sounds a little better to me, I guess, because I liked that game.

I absolutely and completely think so, people make up their minds pretty quickly if there is a very strong first impression from their point of view. Sorry that it differs from yours, but 15 minutes is the time window that was given to ye olde "Pass/Fail" tests for whether or not a game would hold the tester's interest. Clearly this was a fail for someone else.

Nobody is trolling but somebody is definitely fangirling

Im not fangirling, yes, I take it to heart when I think such or such a game is really good, also, maybe because I know making a really worthwhile game, or any sort of creation, takes the best out of you, and this sort of thing is worth defending, unless you want to end up indifferent or neutral to what, at least for me, makes this world a little prettier. Yes art, for me, even in its most minor form, is basic. I would look less fangirling (I'm perfectly aware of this impression I could, falsely, give, and eventually that of ridicule, too bad, I take the risk) if I was defending Picasso's or Shakespeare's works, but basically it would be the same trend. I believe in what I'm doing.

Yeah, we all know the reason for FFVII's iffy dialogue is due to the localization and not the quality of the original source. Of course, I still don't believe FE has bad writing, but to each their own.
I don't... primary because I finished only 1st disk and had russian translation back there XD
Sorry for burst (
Ok, ok,ok, maybe I was to overdid it. But you know then you can't feel a main character right from beginning... like in Legion Saga 2-3 for example, then... then I don't know. Keep playing.

It's all good :) We all have our opinions and I understand where you're coming from.
Alright, I think I've got the bug essentially fixed. I should have it up here today.
Alrighty, just released v.1.06. This should fix any stat bugs with Ziggy. Just go ahead and copy your save file to this one and load it up, and the game will fix it automatically. If you don't mind, please get back to me and let me know that it works.

Also, sorry for consistently bumping this up on the front page. Maybe one day, I'll be able to find all the bugs in the first go-around. =_=;
