Plot Overview

In the world of Linguardia, the nations of Rikalia and Dorent are the reigning powers. Although both leaders have been at peace for centuries, a dark cloud is on the horizon. King Richard, leader of the Rikalian Empire, has recently lost his wife and daughter to a pack of demons. Now, his mind twisted from grief, Richard is on a quest for domination. His plan: to harness the power of the six legendary crystals, which, according to scriptures, will bestow the wielder with unimaginable powers if brought together. With Richard on a path of destruction to collect the crystals, war seems inevitable.

Players take control of Epoch Lander, Captain of Richard's Dragon Knights, an elite force within the Rikalian Empire. However, when Epoch begins questioning the morals behind Richard's actions, he is arrested for treason and sentenced to death. With his head full of unanswered questions, Epoch must decide whether to accept his fate or fight for what he believes to be the greater good: even if it means fighting alone.

Soundtrack Complete!

Jose has just finished the last two songs of the soundtrack, bringing the OST to a grand total of 36 songs. With those final two, the Forever's End soundtrack is now complete! I really have to thank Jose for all the hard work he put into these songs. They all sound fantastic, and I can't wait to release the next episode with them implemented. Great job, bro!

Do know though, there are a few songs that will be included with the game that aren't custom. Not many, but a few, mainly because some of my cutscenes were already built around these songs. However, all of the ones included on this gamepage are the custom ones composed by Jose.

With the soundtrack complete, I thought I'd list out a few of my personal favorites. If you have any favorites, please comment and show Jose some love.

Traveling - Overworld Theme

The Reprieve

Dangerous Wilderness

The Death Knight - Marcellus' Theme

Spiritualization

Journeying Forward

Cutting a Path

In the Heat of Battle - Boss Theme 2

A Dying Planet's Last Breath

Can i suggest more characters or main characters?

Sorry, man. I think nine is as high as it's going to get. That should still give people plenty of options in battle though.
9? I thought there were 10, even if Nel's unplayable as of yet? :)

Maybe I didn't get it, NicoB, you're goig to introduce heroes of other games in Forever's End?

No no. All characters are original.

Epoch, Elise, Lee, Goldo, Seti, Cyrus, Slade, Elizabeth, and Ziggy (currently at least).
Hehe yeah, though Nel being one of the protagonists, it'd be cool to see her in action in part 2. ^u^

Is the Dorent Map finish?

It is, but you won't be able to play through it until Episode 2. Ultima187 did a stellar job on those maps.

Hey, thanks!
Oh yeah, I guess I should post something now that I finally finished playing this. xD

It was a lot of fun! It obviously wasn't perfect or THE BEST THING EVARRR, but I can see you've put a lot of time, effort and love into this, and it really shows! So kudos, man. :3

It was sort of a weird game, too... not, like, IT WAS WEIRD, EW - but more like it played and looked and sort of felt like a SNES game, but it felt a lot like newer RPGs too! It was a good combination - mostly because you merged a lot of the parts I like about new and old games together instead of the parts I dislike. xD

(Also, Epoch's reaction to his more embarrassing dream made me choke on my drink. Thank you for that moment. xD )
Hey, thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Also, glad someone got a kick out of Epoch's dream. ;)
Haha, WELL IT WAS HILARIOUS TO ME~! x3

Oh, yeah, also...
Is the similarity between Strider and Hyuga's sprites intentional? I noticed they have the same hair cut and I couldn't find another present-day counterpart for him, so... yeah
Yeah, that wasn't intentional. Didn't even notice it actually until you pointed it out. XD

Woah, pretty nice music from red alert 3, lol wouldn't mind listening to that as the final dungeon music, though up to Nico on that. :)
Haha, it is a good song! However, I've got someone composing a complete custom soundtrack for me so it will likely be a song by him. It should still be pretty awesome though. ;)

EDIT: You can see the songs he's already made here.

How do you um... make custom Soundtracks?

There are a number of different programs out there that you can use to create your own music. I think my composer is using about two or three different ones to help me out.

I can answer that, im reading the post!

To compose the score i use Sibelius 6, and for the realistic sound i have this libreries:

East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra XP (For normal orchestra sounds)
East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Choirs (For voices)
East West Quantum Leap RA (For etnic sounds)
East West Quantum Leap Stormdrum (A lot of powerful percussions)
East West Quantum Leap Colossus (Now is called Goliath i think, it has many instruments of many families)
Chris Hein Guitars
Abbey Road Drums
Grandioso Bosendorfer 290 (Pianos and more pianos)

If you want to buy them you first will need a good hard disk, because only the Orchestra XP is like 120 GB.

There are others software not too heavy like the previous one like the Garritan Personal Orchestra, are like 3 GB and sounds pretty decent or "Reason", and if you want a better midi sound search for the Hyper Canvas in the web, there is a Demo version that will be helpful.

Sorry if i have gramma mistakes, my english skills arent so good hehe
