Plot Overview

In the world of Linguardia, the nations of Rikalia and Dorent are the reigning powers. Although both leaders have been at peace for centuries, a dark cloud is on the horizon. King Richard, leader of the Rikalian Empire, has recently lost his wife and daughter to a pack of demons. Now, his mind twisted from grief, Richard is on a quest for domination. His plan: to harness the power of the six legendary crystals, which, according to scriptures, will bestow the wielder with unimaginable powers if brought together. With Richard on a path of destruction to collect the crystals, war seems inevitable.

Players take control of Epoch Lander, Captain of Richard's Dragon Knights, an elite force within the Rikalian Empire. However, when Epoch begins questioning the morals behind Richard's actions, he is arrested for treason and sentenced to death. With his head full of unanswered questions, Epoch must decide whether to accept his fate or fight for what he believes to be the greater good: even if it means fighting alone.

Soundtrack Complete!

Jose has just finished the last two songs of the soundtrack, bringing the OST to a grand total of 36 songs. With those final two, the Forever's End soundtrack is now complete! I really have to thank Jose for all the hard work he put into these songs. They all sound fantastic, and I can't wait to release the next episode with them implemented. Great job, bro!

Do know though, there are a few songs that will be included with the game that aren't custom. Not many, but a few, mainly because some of my cutscenes were already built around these songs. However, all of the ones included on this gamepage are the custom ones composed by Jose.

With the soundtrack complete, I thought I'd list out a few of my personal favorites. If you have any favorites, please comment and show Jose some love.

Traveling - Overworld Theme

The Reprieve

Dangerous Wilderness

The Death Knight - Marcellus' Theme

Spiritualization

Journeying Forward

Cutting a Path

In the Heat of Battle - Boss Theme 2

NicoB, do you mind if I cross over some characters from FE to my game?

Yeah, sure thing. Just as long as it's clear they are "cross overs."
Woot just beat this today. I love how you keep switching characters and their story lines. Also how they all have such different skills. This kept me playing, i usually lose interest in most rpgs, but felt every character was a different game. I cant wait to try the next one. Keep up the good work NicoB!

Thanks. Oh, there are some glitches I discovered in FE.
1. The Scout Checker item freezes the game when at lvl 3 scout.
2. The music in the jail cell breakout part does not play.
Was getting into this game when I found this really annoying glitch.

Tried beating my shadow self to get the next level of...y'know...soul rends, is it? The first time you find the Unlocker at the checkpoint. Well, I lost, but I guess it sent me back after it instead of going to game over like it did the first two times. Dunno why. After that my screen glitched out and now only shows the words on the screen, and no cursor or outlined box. I fixed it somehow, but now during battle it'll randomly do it again. It's getting so annoying that I'm stuck in the Manor trying to highlight certain moves but can't tell other than through text.
OH man, dont no how to help fix that, but to help beat your shadow equip all agility items, you should be able to buy accessories and what not to boost it well. Also those spell books can boost it to.
Went through the Manor with the problem somehow not triggering after I posted. Now past the Maple Station deal and going up the High Road as Lee and the others. Glitch for some reason happens, 100% chance, whenever Lee does "Draw." Don't know why. Battle ending will sometimes fix it. Escaping will not.

Hey Tragar, I actually had someone else bring this up to me for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I'm really sorry about this... ; n ; I've never actually had it happen to me before, but I believe it is some stupid glitch caused by the 2k3 system itself and not so much my coding. I'm going to see if I can't recreate the glitch myself (with the Unlocker battles), and see if I can't fix it. Very sorry again for the inconvenience it's been causing. ; _ ;

It's no problem at all! This game is amazing so far that one simple glitch won't ruin it. At least it helps you get rid of it somehow, right?

I'm also mad at myself since I've scanned everything in the game so far EXCEPT the boss at the end of the Manor. Somehow I overkilled it, even though it had most his health left. Does Epoch's Soul Rend, the 2nd one you get, have the ability to insta-kill bosses too or something? Cause that was how I killed it.

EDIT: Also, I was wondering: Can I sell the craftable items after I make them? As in, the !Capture Sphere and such? They are starting to clutter up my inventory.
@Tragar: Regarding Epoch's Soul Rend, it shouldn't instant kill anything, hahaha. That's really weird...I'll have to look in to that.

Regarding the recipes, you can't, but honestly I should've coded it to have the recipe disappear after successfully being added to Goldo's Bag. Thanks for bringing it up, I'll fix that for next time. Btw, when you reach the end, make sure to hold on to that save file as it will be compatible with later releases. ^ ^
Yeah i missed capturing 4 monsters in that castle place that teleports everyone to different spots. So i no what ya mean about missing a scan, irritating huh? But oh well i had to live with out the gear.

Don't worry about it. You'll have a chance to capture them again. For locations that essentially "disappear" or prevent you from going back there again, I'll have another way to visit those locations again. So if you missed some monsters, don't worry! ^ ^
See thats good i was hoping i would have a chance to go back.
Hmm...considering I did the boss the first time in the Manor, and scanned him right away. The dialogue went off saying "I can't seem to find his weaknesses."

But the 2nd time, I didn't scan him. He never changed form or attacked during the 2 turns that Epoch had. All I did was Neo Blade>Slade's Fire Move>Freeze>Epoch's 2nd Soul Rend. Then he died...I have no clue. xD

EDIT: Also, I have also insta-killed other monstsers with that move as well.
Double post, but this is important. The 2nd Soul Rend deal...it DOES OHKO sometimes, since I fought against the Valkyrie with it having 5.6k hp left, and I used it and it died. I was very happy for that by the way.
@Tragar: Oh man, is the damage it's dealing 9999 or close to it? If it is, I know what's causing it, although I don't know HOW it could've happened.

Actually, it's only dealing about 115 damage each time, no matter how many levels I've gained.
@Tragar: Oh my god....seriously? Hahaha, now I'm seriously confused. I have no idea what's causing that to happen. Do you mind uploading your save file to your locker? I'd like to see some of these problems for myself and see if I can't figure it out.
@NicoB: I'm not sure at all which file it is...I've not been on this site much to know how it works. xD I'll look around though to see, gotta delete a old save anyways.
@Tragar: Just open the game folder and scroll down to a file that says Save##.lsd. The ## will be some number 01-12, depending on the save slot. Just upload the one that your are using into your locker here on RMN and send me the link.
Actually, I just finished Episode One apparently. xD So maybe I can tell you when and how I got it replicated. If you really, really need the file so you can go through and do these, you can just mention it and I'll still upload it.

Here's when it happened, though still not sure when it started other than after the Unlocker:

~After I used a Scan item in the Manor or Lee's first scenario.
~After using the Tarot or Draw ability
~When a dialogue box pops up during battle. Ex. During the final boss you fight in Episode One, or after scanning the boss in the manor (the only time it didn't glitch in there).
