Fey

A tale of two unlikely friends struggling to piece together their broken pasts.

Everyone has or will face loss of life and faith. These pivotal times are part of each and everyone of our spiritual journeys. Why then do some people emerge from the crisis with their life and faith intact, while others give up on hope, a future, and their reason for living? For Landon, a young boy now burdened by the mistakes of his past, such moments have weighed heavily on his conscience. It isn't until a mysterious shape shifter named, Picaro, draws him back into his broken past, that Landon can find the means and strength to move on with his life.

The spiritual successor to Darkness Shall Bleed, Fey allows players to take control of, Landon Ferngrass and embark on a journey that will push him to his emotional, intellectual and physical limits as he tries to set his past right and discover the truth behind Oak Island and the legendary artifact of souls, the Fire Pearl.

EXCITING NEWS!

Hello!

It's been a while, but I'm back with some news that I'm excited to share. If you're a fan of anything I've produced, most recognized example being Fey (https://rpgmaker.net/games/778/), then boy oh boy do I have news for you. With the advent of RPG Maker (officially) and the ability to publish to itch.io and Steam, I've been hard at work on What's Left (link below). It is a complete re-imagining of Fey, what it was intended to be. It is important to note that this is not just an official release, but something fresh, new, and more importantly... whole. The original version of Fey was, regrettably, rushed, and over half of the game was cut due to too many reasons to list here. But as time passed, it strengthened the sense of unfinished business. That and some persistent fans and friends finally tipped the scales and I began to revise, expand and rebuild the game from the ground up. What was a couple hour experience now spans 6-8, more if you consider the new side quests, hidden areas, secrets to uncover, tools and weapons, locations, story, dialogue, the ability to purchase a house, get a citizenship, buy furniture for your home, explore chunks of open world and etc. The list goes on, and on, and on. Some more notable things are the revised combat system, the ability to use swap weapons on the fly, the new menu, introduction and branching cutscenes. What I felt was a unique game (with the aim for it to play like a movie) is now a complete experience.... Oh, and for my fans (by popular request) there is a TON more Picaro, including the ability to utilize his unique powers at will. For more information, and to keep up to date on the progress, (Steam page is under construction, along with Youtube page, itch.io, and various others) clink the link below and subscribe. You can also sneak a peak at some more videos and screenshots on my Twitter and Instagram! Make sure to follow on your preferred platform! I appreciate the support and hope you'll share my excitement as I move toward release with in the coming months!!!

I'm sorry, I'm really trying to get this complete, I will have it posted as soon as possible. But what about this site going under? I'll have to find another site to host my game.
RMN is staying alive. Don't worry.
Really? How? Because that in it's self being so close to April fools made it hard to believe.

I have to say the screen shots are very pretty but a bit trite. Glad you renamed it- "Darkness Shall Bleed' sounds like it should be a gritty cyberpunk emo adventure.
Visually this looks like a Zelda clone- I look forward to discovering that it's more than that.

Thanks, But what exactly do you mean by a bit trite? How so? Also I might have renamed it, but besides keeping the main characters name and the chipsets and charsets I drew, it's an entirely new game in terms of story and mechanics. I promise I won't disappoint.
I keep getting Page Not Found when I try to download =(
The site said it was processing, try it now?
Hokay! I just downloaded and took a look at the game. So far it looks great! I'm running into a bit of trouble though, regarding literally the first puzzle in the game(very sad this).
SPOILER: (Sort-of)
I push each block onto the colored circles in the temple room on the left. I check to see if the door is open. Its not. I've tried numerous combinations of which blocks on the circles to no avail. I even took a look at the coding in rm2k3 but I what I found suggested I did the puzzle correctly.

Please help!
Great game! I really enjoyed all the subtle effects throughout the game and I have to say this is top notch work. I was only going to play for a few minutes, but sure enough I put my studies on hold. I'm impressed at how it grabbed me and wouldn't let go until I finished. Which left me a little sad because I wanted to continue!

The paintings on the wall give you the answer. Both give the order the blocks are supposed to be pushed onto the floor switches. RED is FIRE, BLUE is WATER and GREEN is WIND. The elements in the order are highlighted in the description for both of the painting.

It goes as follows, WIND, FIRE, WATER.

Have played the first bit of the game. Really liking it so far! I'll let you know my thoughts in fuller detail once I complete it.

Appreciate it.
I'm really digging the game so far, but I ran into a bit of a problem? At the beginning of chapter 2, it instantly starts using the shield after that first scene and the hero is stuck there with the shield out. I can't move, call the menu, put the shield up, etc. :/

I tried it out and tested it, it didn't do it for me and I couldn't seem to duplicate it. I know there has been some problems people have been running into with duel processors. Sometimes the duel cores are too fast and cause glitches in Rm2k3 in general. Make sure to save often and give it another shot... Thanks and good luck!

I'd appreciate it, also like it if you could rate it regardless of it being a demo.
So, I apparently it was just my computer bugging out on me, as I finally got it to work. Either way, I just beat it yesterday and I'll probably post up a review soon. Overall though, Well done man. :) It was extremely fun to play. I wish there was more. lol
Just finished the demo, I'll probably review it soon ;)
