So it does also seem like the saxophone gets distributed once per day. We should as long as we can until hammering to see if it does come back, or if it's in the hands of scum.

But our odds of using it again are good, there is only one scum...I guess, depending on what Jeroen decides to do now.

Cap needs to get confirmation if he's unhammerable, or hammerable but just survives afterwards


Will that really help us? He could lie, and it could be a lie either way. He could say it doesn't end the day to convince us to lynch him when it really will end the day and he really can't be killed. Alternatively, he could say that it will just immediately end the day when it really won't, to scare us into not trying to lynch him.

I'm sorry if I sounded that way. I really am enjoying the game and I appreciate the effort you've put into it. I won't say any more about it.

So anyway, like I need to go to sleep kind of two hours ago. I preemptively apologize to the players who come on while I'm asleep and have to deal with the fact that we've kind of decided to lynch Cap despite his claim of a bulletproof item.

But I really do think this is the right decision. I think this is a bluff, either the item doesn't do what he says it does, or he doesn't even have such an item.

If a lynchproof item really exists then we need to lynch piano irl. I don't buy it.


I can believe it exists.

But given what we've seen so far, I would more believe it's something like: "Single use. It takes one less vote to hammer you. When you are lynched, there is a 50% chance you survive and the day ends immediately. Does not transfer."

None of our items have been perfect. They've all been very random, and generally were just as dangerous for the one using them as for anyone else. I would only vote to lynch Piano IRL if this item was any different.

Yeah that's what I mean. So if the dice say "oh well, make the game unwinnable" then that's what happens


Well, or we played really badly for long enough and forced our agents to claim first thing so that now yes, with scum having a single helpful item the game is unwinnable.

I would be curious to hear more from LockeZ before the end. And I guess if there is no chance of killing Cap, I would go for Cave.

But I'm kind of on board with just trying to lynch Cap anyway? He says he has this magical item which protects him, but like...that sounds way more powerful than the other items I know of.

The name of the game seems to be that items have hard to control effects, and are just as likely to do something useless than what you want. Which would make sense given the theme of the game.

One is a VERY random detective item which shows up once per day apparently and could fall into the hands of scum, the other is my mostly-useless (and still very random) magnet. A bulletproof item seems like it's a big step up. The other items are basically less reliable versions of regular abilities (makes sense given the theme), while Cap is claiming he basically has what amounts to a regular role ability. And conveniently he already used it, so we can't see the proof.

It could so very easily be a bluff.

My understanding is that piano is "rolling" the items without any thought as to balance, so the game could still be in a winnable state with you as last scum + undaykillable if, uh, Odd hadn't been flushed.


I strongly suspect that who gets what item is completely random.
