I will say that the gray one has a less bad palette, and that might be affecting my decision. Regardless of the history of Batman and how dark you want him to be, the sprite just looks better.

Try this palette for the blue one, I also changed a few details:

I'd probably keep the eyes white and the Bat-symbol black, but I do like that pallette. Now to see if I can change this on Idraw (yep, THAT's what I'm using).

I'll be keeping all suits as alternate costumes (ones designed to alter stats). It will really be a matter of what costume I should start with.

side note; lovve what you did with the belt. Also really like the broader cape edges, and the darker grey. I'm kinda attached to the blue, though. I wanted to make this game less Arkham/Nolan, more comic-booky and it's a very deep blue I've seen in the comics- even some of the 2000s stuff had that style.

But will use this palette on a suit of some description; it really does look fantastic.

Just a result of the charsets being close together. Now that you mention it, though, I smell a slash fic brewing.

I prefer the black+gray but there should definitely be a costume selection option that is unlockable. Add in a modern solid black one also if you do that.

The black one makes Batman look more serious.
The blue one just reminds me of the Adam West Batman.

It's interesting. I posted this picture on a comics board, and the overwhelming response was for the blue suit. More than the Adam West Costume, I was trying to chanel the work of a guy name Jim Lee in a Batman story called "Hush".



I guess the best way to compare it is by saying that Blue Vs Black is a lot like "The Wind Waker vs "Twilight Princess". Both are depicted as dark, but in one the darkness is more unexpected.

Like I said, though; I'm at a crossroads.

Have been using the not-so legal version of 2K3 for years. Promised myself I would buy it when it became legal.

Not disappointed.
