my fucking clothes got stolen

Is it possible your memory is terrible enough that you forgot which washer you were using?

Give me needed criticism for my hideous artwork.

This isn't the time to be asking for criticism. You're just getting started. Keep doing it. Don't stop. And don't look at people's work if it's better than yours unless you're studying it.

What do you want to draw? Manga? Find a manga you like and learn to draw it like they do. You know what's useful? Tracing. You know what happens when you trace? Your hand learns how to draw a face. Your muscles will learn how to make the pen do what you see in your head. Then you move on from that, start doing your own stuff. Keep studying. Keep incorporating stuff you like. Do this every day for hours a day and don't stop.

There are workshops too. Are you in school? Take art classes, all of them. There are online tutorials. Start with the beginner stuff.

Asking for criticism is not going to get you anywhere, not yet. Find something you want to draw and keep doing it over and over and over again. Your abilities will get better over time. That is your only answer.

RMN, name 40 characters for me, kthx plz

I say we release it at exactly the time as a Blizzard game and call it "Chris Metzen Was A Tool."

RMN, name 40 characters for me, kthx plz

Interesting. Sounds like you're mostly kidding, but I wasn't aware that was a thing. I looked it up and it is. I think that stuff is worth paying attention to.

Just in case anyone legitimately was irked by that, "Slag" was based on slag metal, a byproduct of smelting, a funny name for an engineer. It was chosen because it didn't sound male or female to me.

I imagined her being a sergeant. Sergeant Slag, combat engineer.

edit: craze let's make a moba

I need feedback on an idea...

I mean, it seems fine, but there isn't much there to criticize or talk about. There's nothing particularly good or bad about a refugee planet.

The idea of an evil empire conquering it seems weird. You'd need to make sure they have a really good reason to do that. Who are they conquering it from? Some refugee government that really values its independence?

If you want to do things right, you need to have a really good reason for why there's an artificial planet, too. That is going to be insanely expensive. How does it avoid being crushed under its own gravity? Why build a planet instead of just settle or terraform a new one?

How should the dialogue go for stealing items in a game (non battle) RMVX ACE

Going with some more flavorful text might be cool. It'd be a nice touch (and not that much work) to make each sentence about each specific item you can steal, even if they're all generic.

"In this drawer, you notice the glint of candlelight on an open pouch of coins. It could be taken with little effort..."

If there's endless garbage to steal like in Elder Scrolls games, this will get tedious for both you and the player. But if it's specific items in specific places, it'd be a nice touch. You could also randomize the message.

"A little unguarded pouch of coins sits conspicuously on top of this cupboard..."

For stuff that's not being stolen, is there any reason you need to give the player a choice in taking it, especially if it's coins? Does a message even need to pop up, rather than just an item jingle and a "you found X"?

[RM2K3] Secret RTP?

If they could have similar rules to Refmap's stuff, where it can be edited and used however, I'd definitely be up for exploring its use.

[RM2K3] Transfer Player shows previous map before moving player?

>I think the true only way to do things like this is have a parallel process turn on an auto-run event,

Yeah, after extensive butting my head against a wall, I finally had to concede this was the only way to do it. If you want to save yourself a switch, you can have the autorun use the key-checking variable instead.

[RM2K3] Transfer Player shows previous map before moving player?

Glad to hear that worked, bleet. Incidentally, did you try using the wait command to fix it as others suggested? I'm curious to know if that actually worked. Intuitively, it seems like it ought to, but again, I've attempted that fix in several places in Ara Fell where it didn't.
