Oh? How would you score 450 MS for writing reviews for all the games? I thought the Badge of Devotion was only 100 MS?

Edit: I believe I will try to write more reviews as I can, though. I do not really mind whether a podcast is made or not, although that does not mean I do not appreciate it. Even if I have not made a contest entry, I do enjoy hearing others' opinions about games. The reason that I would review games would be to provide valuable feedback in the hands of those who need it. If I do not believe they would appreciate the feedback or find it useful, I usually keep it to myself.

An RM Venture

I settled for just 4 reviews, realizing that writing significant feedback for every single entry is very near impossible under my schedule. Plus, the return for The Badge of Devotion is too small a reward for the effort. 20 reviews for the Reviewrim event would have netted 450 Makerscore, whereas the Badge of Devotion scores 100. Not that the purpose is all for Makerscore, but said achievement is quite impossible for me to gain. I'd only try for the sake of being the sole member on this site to have achieved that feat. Even then, I believe I am neither able nor willing to expend quality for quantity, keeping in consideration that, like you, Liberty, I want my feedback to be nothing but high quality edification.

I would encourage others with more time to try, though.

Final Quest - The disciple's journey Review

I did have a lot of fun. I think the skill tree would be more suitable for a longer game, since I only started looking at it when I was nearing the end. Perhaps next time you create a contest game you should consider including a second and perhaps third tier of stat modifying accessories. I felt the same limitations of customization, or at least the illusion of it, whilst playing Dead Moon Night. Although that was a longer game than this so its abundance of items became more frustrating in that game than this.

Looking forward to seeing the game that you are referring to become flesh and bone.

WYRM WARRIORS! The Legend Must Go On!

author=ShortStar
Yeah I've been taking Wyrm Warriors stuff for a private game that I make just for myself to never release.

I wouldn't mind if ShortStar actually took a big role in this since he has a lot of experience in making games as open-ended and large in scope as this work. See EpiQuest for more details.

Of course, getting kentona to help out would also be a dream, and we all know what game he made that deserves recognition.

Wisao Nominations~

It's all good. Judging RM Venture takes time. I'm minutely excited at the reveal of this year's Wisaos. Woo!

DEViL::ender Review

I think you summed it up pretty well just then without ruining major plot details. I did enjoy that part of the game, not just for its gamey-ness, but for its commentary on the stereotypical JRPG.

WYRM WARRIORS! The Legend Must Go On!

In Crazegames characters often introduce themselves in a single line. We could do that.

WYRM WARRIORS! The Legend Must Go On!

LockeZ
Being able to XP at will as much as you want destroys everything that makes it a crazegame!

Being able to grind for XP doesn't destroy a Crazegame. Devil::ender, Craze's last game, had random encounters and that didn't ruin the progression.

I was suggesting the arena as a way to get extra XP if you got stuck without the amount of XP you need. Plus a way to get loot if you didn't have any more monsters to kill. So no, that was not irrelevant at all, I was trying to answer your dilemma, just not in the way you envisioned it.

LockeZ
twice the original cost of the item, as a reward for not needing it.

You're rewarded for not using items? I thought you were supposed to be rewarded for using them. That goes against what makes RPG battles good. What makes Crazegames good is that the items such as status heals are actually useful this time around, instead of in 99% of other RPGs where they are just loot to be collected and never used. So please, let's encourage the use of items rather than discourage it.

Clearing the slate after every level sounds to me like the resource management was for nothing.

author=Liberty
I like the idea of an arena but instead of XP, why not make it for something like gaining extra skills, unlocking next level items/equipment and getting gold?

That sounds brilliant. If in fact we can add extra stuff like that as LockeZ has discouraged. Something like Tekken's Survival Mode with Skills as reward.
