Generica - [RMVX..?]
I can also make retro-ugly graphics too :>
With the RTP supplied with VX... It almost looked like they knew this game was being developed. The RTP is rather fitting I think.
Or you could still do it with NES style graphics, but if you do that, see if you can't recode the message box into something more old-school.
keep going up
I think I remember this happening to me way back in the RM2K days. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with a gamepad. I remember it continually going upwards in the title screen menu. I'd say, if you have any kind of controller plugged i, unplug it and restart the computer. If not, restart it anyway. :D
Dragon Quest IV!
The Frozen World
Royalty-Free RTP Alternative Project
I'd totally love to help out with this. I unconditionally support, cherish, bless, and hope for the success of this idea.
Final Fantasy IV (DS)
I'm pretty hyped on this, and Phantom Hourglass has me extremely happy about DS right about now. So I'll be picking this up when (or if) it comes here. I hope the voice acting is optional. I'd rather have the traditional message boxes myself.
What are you working on?

The Man Who Planted Trees
I apologize if this is in the wrong forum.
I can't really remember what I was looking for originally, but somehow I stumbled upon a short book called "The Man Who Planted Trees" written by Jean Giono. The general plot of the book revolves around a man who lives alone in a desert who has a passion for planting trees. As the story progresses, his forest grows very lush. It's an extremely heart warming story that I can reccomend to everybody, but it wasn't really the book on its own that made my jaw drop.
Roughly 30 years after the story was written, an animated version of it was created. Some of you have probably seen it before, I have no idea. I'd never heard of it, yet it is #1 on the imdb short film list. Go figure. Everybodyshould watch the film, because it's the most beautiful piece of animation I've EVER seen. The art style is so unique, and the use of music and sounds is incredible. I was so stunned by the film that I ordered the DVD off amazon. Luckily for all of you, it's on the internet. Do yourself this favor and check it out:
