Dear god O.o this thing seems to be made just based on my desires :) (save for graphics, but then my fave rm 2k/3 games are quite ugly anyway :P).
Seriouly, steampunk plus TRUE political humans story with no supernatural being behind the plot seems awesome... MORE ppl should do that :)

Kentona: Love the city, though I will always hate the purple castle wall tiles from the 2k/3 RTP. (I once edited then all to grey :P). Mapping is really badass :)

While I would still take the big company offer for experience, I agree about the small indie shop, maybe starting my own.

All in all I think the point is clear Max: Ppl who already got stabilished in another career and has ties to their home wouldn´t bother, the rest would probably take it at least as experience :P

And aside the (failure) issue with meteor, Sephiroth just kills ramdom ppl and a girl, compare that to fucking the whole planet, rulling over it for more than one year, vaporizing towns when you don´t like then and bringing other disasters.
