hehe actually I tend to not like the whole angel or demon race things, but in this time I didn´t mind since it gave a reason (and I thought it was not intentional, still a reason though) for Pyra to endure hardships and keep her child safe :)
As for Zauber, no worries, it is still a bit confusing, so hopefully I will get it in the game and the spoilers won´t kill it for me hehe

And well I just cosplayed once for money reasons XD Most of the characters I like require at least an uniform.
And we should draw Max as a schoolgirl, wonder if he´d use that as an avatar XD

Storytelling/retelling
April: Maybe there is no exact secret to it. My point is that different people have different ways to view things and like their stories portrayed in a different way.
Now if you ask me: what usually grabs me in a narrative is how simply emotional it is regarding the flow. Unless it relates to specific objects or machines here and there, I want simple and and symbolic descriptions. I also like it when stories are presented in a way that makes the characters seem human and not super human.
Those are general points for me, there are mediun specific points to be made as well, but I gotta go off now.
In the end it comes down to your audience, or your target audience more precisely.

Shouldn't Have Used that Megalixer, You Were Going to Lose Either Way!
Both Suzu and Ness are kinda different from me... only ninja stuff I get is two swords... to use on monks for double killing punches powered by accumulate :D Or all that used by knights or lancers using two hands too. I am all out for strong attacks in FFT at least.
In most other games I am all for range, as long as cast times aren´t too bad, the best would be a mage knight class.
On topic: Yes, I don´t have super itens either, every expendable can be bought on shops/got from enemies.

If she were a regular human, I could agree with you. No idea if the half-demon part was intended for that reason, but it can make a point to how Pyra can still hold herself (and baby) while pregnant. As demons are a fantasy element, they (and half demons by that) can have more resistance and different ups and downs from humans. Who knows even if female demons get stronger when pregnant as a natural point to defend thenselves assuming that male demons would by nature be doing something else like hunting for food rather than being able to stay full time on the female´s guard?
Cosplaying
Do the ppl who said they cosplayed have no photos or they just don´t want to show?
Well I cosplayed as Leon D.S.Greese from Star Ocean 2 four years ago. My problem with cosplaying is exactly that for the most part, I only like obscure things or obscure characters in popular things... so the chances of someone recognizing the character are usually low...
Anyway, me as Leon:
Anyway, for those guys complaining: I KNOW you guys want to cosplay as Sailormoon, maybe you even dress up at home, you are just afraid to admit it *brain damaged imagining Macgee and WIP dressed as schoolgirls* I hope... not o.o
Regarding what to cosplay Nick: I only know Megaman and Zero and Naruto and Sasuke from the list. From then only MM and Zero are really good, but hard to do. Don´t you have any other options? :P
I want to cosplay as Char Aznable someday, be it his Char´s counterattack version or his Zeta Gundam alter ego Quattro Bagina...

Canuck: Orwel at least tend to take roots in historical events that unfold or were actually happening when he wrote, basically what he did was just add his point of view on then and mask then under a different setting. (Well at least in the books I´ve read and studied from him that is). And for that I think he is brillhant, not original.
My point is exactly that: what matters is how the story is told and what does it transmit, not if it is tottally new, but if it offers satisfaction to the reader.
Also, a scientific proven fact is that any idea we have is at least linked to something we saw before, even if our minds complete the missing components to invent something, the base comes from some memory or reference.
Now, as time passes and we have more and more to learn and remember with means to access all that knowledge faster, it is natural that things get less original, but they can still be good regardless.

And for those reasons I want to see this further :)
