Rpg Maker game tear-jerkers.
I was just thinking about this, but what are some moments in your favorite (or even just ones you've played) rpg maker games that have gotten to you nearly, or completely, to the point of crying? Also if you would explain the scene and what made it sad. I can't for the life of me remember a scene that really stuck out for me, but that just means that I need to play moar gaems. And perhaps share some of the scenes in your own games that you've tried to inspire the same reaction out of its viewers.

(RM2K3) I can't get my dynamic day/night cycle to work.
Shortly before the sun rises the view outside is very blue. You just have to go out there at the right time.

Tales from Zilmurik II
Everything in this game will become vastly outdated when the remake of the first chapter of Tales from Zilmurik is completed. Of course this means that I will be reworking the demo when I find time.

Updated with Dragons Valour.
What can I say about this game that I didn't touch on in the LT? The mapping was nice but really, I had no idea what to do. Am I just supposed to be thrust onto the map and figure out what to do? Even the characters saying something like "Oh, we should head down the mountain" or "let's try and find somewhere warm." would have been a help.
Also, a hint or something for that puzzle would be nice. It didn't feel like the beginning of a game - it felt as though I'd started from a previous save point to see what the game was like. Well, take a look at it anyway.
I'm currently LTing your other Zilmurik game and will start on Legacy tomorrow. I may come back to Tiamat Sacrament later on but episode issues annoyed me a little so I'm taking a break from it for the moment.
Ah yes, that's the "New World" demo. There is an entire questline before that, but seeing as how I won't be getting it finished for some years, I decided to release an introduction to the world after the one you start on. If you'd like, I could give you a sort of summary of what happens in the earlier parts of the game, though that would most likely kill the game up to that point. There are also weaknesses and resistances that you should focus on throughout the demo, hence why I gave the player Whips of Raging Tides, Spears of the Storm, and Blades of Fiery Wrath. The first dungeon is clearly an ice type, so I would suggest equipping the Blades of Fiery Wrath and the shields to greatly increase how much damage you do (200% to be exact). For the second dungeon, using the Spear of the Storm, as the monsters are water type, would be beneficial. For the third and final dungeon, you should equip the Whip of Raging Tides for the monsters leading up to the boss as they are earth types, while for the boss I would suggest using the Spear of the Storm.
I'd also like to note that the dragon battle char (changed recently to fit a new feel) was downloaded directly from some rm2k3 resource library and was never edited from its original graphic. I believe Tiamat was, in turn, the heavily edited one.
EDIT: For the statue puzzle, please consider the star. Also, the angels are surrounded on either side by demons. I fear this hint spoils the puzzle but at least it provides help. In the current version (after the demo was released) there are no random encounters to halt your progress in the puzzle areas of the first dungeon. I have released a new demo that covers what was in the previous demo to apply these changes shortly.

But I suck at making dungeons. Really, really suck.
No matter how true this may be, nothing is worse than the DunGen.

For the record, Corfaisus, I think Deep Friend Questing Grind is my next LT after Legend of Denadel.
Sounds like a plan, just don't expect anything great. Even the jokes are becoming more meh by the day.
Download Size Limit
What about games that use a fair amount of resources, the larger completed ones. You'd be hard-pressed to find one that stays below 30-40 MB. Then there's games that are needlessly large because most of their soundtrack is MP3s or lengthy WAVs such as Legend of Liberace 3 that used to be a staggering 500+ MB.
My Problems With Making RPG Games
If you've got a good idea for an ending, I would suggest eventing that out, and any time you feel your interest waning go back to it. I'm not sure if this will work for many projects but I know that going back to view my final battle of the series makes me want to hit that point of the game even more.
