Tracing teaches you jack shit. It is OK to try to emulate someone else's style, especially at the beginning when you don't know how to draw too well and you need to learn the basics. But copy-pasting works of others will lead you nowhere. When I was still learning pixelart I used to rip A LOT of graphics from various games to use as reference. I experimented with various palettes and styles until I developed my own. You won't learn anything by, god, I hate that word, TRACING.
You're saying you don't know much about palettes and that you're a beginner in this whole pixelart thing. If so, then don't attempt to make a whole set of custom graphics for a game in some crazy resolution. Wait till you're better at it and really, stick to 320x240. If you want to make the game in XP/VX, then simply double the size of your graphics, but with no filters. And remember - no one was born with mad pixelz skillz. When I first started I knew nothing about colors. It took me years to wrap my head around this whole RGB business. Take it slow and develop your skills, but not through tracing, for Christ's sake.
Oh, and calling your traced image an original creation is bad. It's no different than plagiarism, it's rude, and don't do it again. Like, ever.

Ok.... Capcom Fucked my history
So, you started making a RE fangame without playing or at least reading about the stories of all the canonical REs and you're blaming Capcom for the inconsistencies in the story you wrote? Are you serious?
Heck, I'm a RE fan that never had the opportunity to play Veronica and Zero (and never will) and what I did was go on youtube and watch let's plays of those just to know the plot.

Ghosts of the Arcanum
Ghosts of the Arcanum
Just check the video section, it's Finding Forever Eden all right. So unless he passed it on to one of his padawans then it must be Rowen Adam Kadmon.

The Screenshot Topic Returns
I only managed to put together several maps and edit the sprites so that they cover the 3 characters you see. So no, there's not much done.
It was supposed to be a horror game based on the movie Contamination, but I lost inspiration some time after hour 1. Calling it a game is actually a stretch, since all you were to do was to get from one point to another and trigger cutscenes, but, you know, 4 hours :D

The Way EP 1 Review
The way I see it, The Way is like the Matrix trilogy - it starts out awesome, but then takes a nosedive and never recovers. I suspect jumping the shark and nuking the fridge BOTH must have occurred somewhere along the way.
I followed The Way when the only episodes available were 1 & 2 (or maybe even just 1, it's a bit blurry), and eagerly awaited the release of each new episode. 1 was great, 2 was awesome (definitely the best of the bunch), 3 was great, but thin on the plot, then 4 came and... uhh, why am I spending so much time in a city? Isn't this game about, you know, WANDERING through the plains, and mountains, and caves, and fiery pits of hell? Isn't it the point of the whole series? But I guess as a game 4 was all right, not as good as its predecessors, but good for an RM game. Then 5 happened and it was laughably bad. Seriously, I never would have thought that it was possible to destroy such a strong franchise so quick even though there was no money involved. But I beat it, somehow. And then... then 6 came... 6... 666... I will leave it at that, because thinking about this games brings so many painful memories, oh, so painful... I hope there is a special place in hell for Lun for releasing this... ABOMINATION...
