Gadgets
I haven't tried this game out yet, but I like the fact that you have the idea of gadgets (similar to lufia). I don't think enough games out there focus on items and skills within the current map

I think its easier to make graphics in rpgmaker 2k3 and that is the reason it stays alive. For me the reason I'm using it is for that and familiarity. I'm a little old and short on time to learn a new developer and then make a game with it.

Nitpicky yes but understandable. The player character here is a little bit crazy, so I'm trying to write it into his characters. The area is a little empty, I have to make some graphics such as torches and the like. However this small area is empty to prevent movement blockage as there's a lot of it in this particular scene.

Graphics Help RM2K3 project
Maybe some of you may remember and maybe not; I was the maker of Diary of a Madman many years ago.
Anyways, as a result of needing an outlet for work and my fascination of my heritage, I've begun developing a game with the basis of The Ring Cycle Opera.
My main drawback point has always been graphics; not that I'm terrible at making them, but they're likely what held me back from ever finishing a project. What I'd like to do is see if anyone could help me out in creating battlecharas for RM2k3 using Castlevania Symphony of the Night graphics bas a base of how they should look. I've already begun working on the first player character (Alberich) and was wondering if anyone would be willing to help with a possibility of some commission (I don't know the going rate these days but if it seems reasonable for a freeware game). I would supply charasets for which to base these off of as well as brief descriptions. Let me know if anyone is interested. Thank you.

High Fantasy Resource Bundle II and Mega Pack
These look really great and honestly would be ideal for the game I'm working on...
Unfortunately I'm working with RPGMaker2003. I really commend your efforts though.

Diary of a Madman
Well. To be honest I apologize to everyone for my inability to finish even the first chapter of this game (although a finished 1st chapter of the original maybe floating around somewhere). Life kind of took precedent when I tried to go back to undertaking this project and I'll be honest at this point in my life its a little ambitious (as well as RM2k3 being an outdated program). I am interested in undertaking a smaller project, my one barrier being the platform of design and graphics. If anyone may be interested in contributing to this, which I am still willing to use RM2K3 with (although I am open to using a more current system, of course with price and learning curve taken into consideration) I'd love to make an open ended version of the story of the Ring of the Nibelunglied if I have the time. Once again Im really sorry about this but am open to rereleasing the demo I currently have if people are interested. Look forward to hearing from some of you.
