At first I started Stayin Alive by an accident as from the look of it game is exactly aboutDisco. And shite that intro was just haunting. End of the demo is just perfect. I like it so far. Something says me heroine won't be so lucky next time.
My score on Gameboy Shooter was 1156.

Also 1156?!? How are y'all so good at the shooter?!? I'm so terrible at it OTL. If anyone else plays the demo please let me know your high score on the shooter game! It will be relevant to later stuff and I need an estimate of a high score and seeing that I can barely get over 250 I'm clearly at the lower end of that.
Everything Will Be Fine
Cashmere expressed a dislike for the sliding puzzle, especially as the first main puzzle of the game. I happen to enjoy sliding puzzles (and solved this one during playtesting an ungodly amount of times) but I don't want to force people who dislike them to suffer through it. I'm thinking about keeping it but making an option so if the player gets stuck/ doesn't want to complete it they can just skip over it.
There's also the issue that it randomly shuffles each time. So it could shuffle into an extremely difficult to solve formation for one player and an easy one for someone else. Having an image of what it should look like might help too, though technically the room itself is identical to the puzzle.

Well better late than never! I am in fact going with the first for various reasons. Your right about the red looking too bloody/horror-y. Plus any deaths in-game don't involve blood so the second one gives off the wrong impression.

Familliar graphics? I have no idea what you're talking about... (;◔ิз◔ิ)~♪♬
( I'll be switching them up by the final ver. The timing of this with my color theory final collided and I didn't want my project to have incomplete graphics for class. Nice icon btw.)
Re: the sliding puzzle. If it stays proper instructions will be added. Though I may nix it so who knows.
The demo cuts off right before the main catastrophe starts. Don't worry there's plenty of time for terrible things to happen. :D

Ebeth - Everything Will be FineVery interesting little demo. There's certainly some sound balancing things you might want to look into. Especially the sound effects in the shooter minigame and the music in the pipe puzzle. They were all much louder than the rest of the game. BTW Rach's score on the shooter was - 695!
Anyway, nice job building atmosphere. Gave me a few Yume Nikki vibes, especially in the bedroom. (writing in the diary, the mini game on the gaming system) Oh and once again, slick graphics~
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I definitely need to balance the audio! It totally slipped my mind. The Yume Nikki vibes were completely unintentional but given my massive love for that game I'm not surprised it happened.
