Chronicles of Tsufanubra

And this is why I find the public to perhaps be the best test players of all time. They'll do things you never gave a second thought to, and stumble upon something you never even knew existed, even AFTER multiple playthroughs!

I've addressed the issues you mentioned, Liberty! Thanks for bringing them to my attention. Although the Fairy Scythe was never supposed to drain MP! Guess that's an oversight on my part. The weapons that DO drain (some) MP are those that are linked to an element, but you won't access those until a little later.

The teleportation events in the Arvandi Woods should only deactivate once you've cleared the area of monsters? Also, I have to take the blame for that distracting chest... it was on purpose! A deliberate troll. It's a duplicate chest. If you've already got the Fairy Scythe, then you've already got what was in that chest =P Hahahahahaha!

That's an, uh... interesting take on where you thought the story was going! But I've played through these scenes soooooo many tiiiiiiiimes (as I'm sure we all have in all our projects) that anything story-related just doesn't affect me. Well, aside from the introductory section being a little iffy.

Chronicles of Tsufanubra

Awesome! That's great to hear. I attribute the introduction stages to being so iffy because this is a highly polished and refined version of my first fully completed RPG Maker game: Dragon Fantasy. If I'd been starting from the ground up, I'd probably have tried for something a little moooore... original! Hahahahaha.

Chronicles of Tsufanubra

I'm glad you enjoyed the experience! The story starts out a little on the cliche side, seemingly heading in the direction everyone THINKS it'll head in... only to twist and turn in just the right ways as to keep things interesting and make the player want to get to the next story scene.

Chronicles of Tsufanubra

Actually...

No, you can't go through that door. It's just a little diversion that also hints at Celes' true role. If you've obtained the final Orb of Guidance in the temple area (to the left, just passed the first save point), you can walk over the black pits that you may have seen and ascend to the top of the castle.

Chronicles of Tsufanubra

Awesome! You best get back with your impressions, y'hear!

IT'S OUT! (Early Release Date)

And I eagerly await that day to come!

I'm also excited to start getting some comments once a decent number of people have downloaded (AND PLAYED) the game!

Shadows of Adam Releases on Steam and Humble Feb 23rd!

I just defeated the boss of the Wind Tower and obtained my fourth party member, and I've gotta say that I'm absolutely loving the experience so far! Your sprites are fantastic, and everything's just... well, it's eye-candy!

I found the battles to be a little iffy at first, but then quickly grew on me once I got about an hour in.

OH! And before I forget... I'm not sure HOW or WHY it happened, but there was a female NPC in the north of Adam that I could walk on and over. But then I suddenly couldn't? Weird.

Aaaaaaaaaaand I've made the purchase! I'm looking forward to finally getting to pay this =D

Testers Wanted! Looking for at least TWO

Everything's going... ridiculously smooth! And that's kind of scary, actually. It makes me think that I'm missing even MORE stuff! Hahahahaha. What I do know is that everyone seems to be loving the experience so far, which gives me a lot of hope for when I release it!
