I oftentimes wish the older makers had the same options available to it in regards to battle/equipment skills and effects that VX/ACE does. Oh well! I do enjoy making the best out of the basic systems, though, without any fancy switch/event work.
Stop and Petrification have also switched effects! Petrification turns a target to stone and stops their movement for a lengthy amount of time, while the "Stop" ailment halts an enemy's movements AND lowers their defenses (due to simply being unable to move and defend themselves).

Roll in the MP3s!
You mean to resume development of the project in the new/official maker, or something else entirely...?

And THAT'S what I was going for! ... But now that it's been brought to my attention, I think I'm actually going to transfer the "decreases DEF" part to the Stop ailment and simply have Petrification prevent movement.

Oblivion Quest
The game's got a fantastic atmosphere, and I absolutely love all the different NES graphics that you're utilizing, especially the monster and party battlers.

My party consists of a Human, Mutant, Monster, and Robot. I was never a fan of having TWO of the same "Class" in my party, so I decided to mix it up a little and have one of everything. I'm having a blast so far! Just reached the first major dungeon (south of the second town). I forgot how much I enjoyed the SaGa games on the gameboy!

A Villainous Pair (Character Art)
All the kjrn are animal/human hybrids. Depending on the individual, however, their features may be more prominent than others in their race. I thought something more... reptilian suited Veryl above all else.
And yeah, the art's pretty sweet. =B

It's from Etrian Odyssey 3. Those games have some pretty great looking monster sprites that seem to work well with what I've got so far! Not only that, but they're FRONT-VIEW! It's ridiculously hard to find good front-facing monsters (for me, at least).
Onward! 75% Completed
Oh, DEFINITELY! But we've still got quite a ways to go before releasing a final product. However, a little progress is made every day, so it's only a matter of time!
Dragon Fantasy BOSS TRIAL Review
I loved reading through each and every one of these, Dyhalto! I can't believe you actually REVIEWED these games! They were sort of experiments that I worked on while taking a break from my main project at the time, and not something I'd expected to be given full-length reviews.
One line I LOVED was from the Boss Project III review, and it was in regards to Renton: " Renton is a badass. He looks like a dweeb, and I'm sure much sand was kicked in his face when he was Level 1, but that was before he learned Fire/Ice/Lit 6 whereas the rest of the world doesn't even know there are 4 & 5 variants."
You got my hopes up in the Boss Project IV review for an Eternal Paradise review! I was secretly hoping that would be the next one =X
Thanks for the effort you put into this! I know it's all part of the reviewing event, but I absolutely love logging on and seeing stuff like this! I appreciate it, good sir!
