Demon Legacy

I finished this a few days ago, and I enjoyed it a lot, extremely annoying spike traps and insufferable Rhea-Slade dynamics aside. Orion is all kinds of awesome. Can't say I cared much for Shadar, though. He was an okay antagonist, but his nearly legendary status as the end-all of RM villains set my expectations a little too high.

...Also, Deimos' name is mispelled so often that I'm still not sure whether he is supposed to be Deimos or Diemos.

Ok, enough nitpicking. Overall, Demon Legacy is a great game, easily the best completed RM one I have played to this date (...let's not get into the specifics of this comparison).

SHOW ME YOUR SCREENSHOTS - Fall Edition

What are RM-orbs? Why, they are Really Manly orbs, of course!

...It is not advised to expose your RM-orbs to sources of intense heat, or let them be subjected to blunt impact.

If you are using Vista:

* Right click on a blank area of your Vista desktop
* Click personalize
* Click Window Color and Appearance
* Click the link at the bottom of the page that says “Open classic appearance properties for more color options”
* Click the effects button
* Either uncheck the box that says “Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts” or choose standard from the drop down list rather than the default ClearType
* Click OK
* Click Apply
* Click OK again and you are done

If you are using Windows XP:

Try installing this, going to Control Panel, double clicking on ClearType settings, and ticking off the "Enable font smoothing" box in the Advanced tab. This worked for some people who seemed to have the same problem when I released the Spanish version a while back.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

World of Goo. I went and splurged the outrageous sum of THREE dollars on it (What? I could have bought it for one cent! Don't judge me!)

Cool game. I almost regret not having paid more for it. Almost.

The "You might also like..." RMN Gamepage movement

post=103884
So I've seen a lot of participants in this movement, but we could always use more! Any more volunteers?

I'll probably add one of these eventually, but I have to become better acquainted with RMN games first...

Alternatively, I can manually do this. I HAVE...THE POWER!!

You wouldn't dare do such an administrative thing!

Date Available

My gamepage has finally showed up, at the date it was supposed to. So far, so good...

...However, it seems the long delay has prevented it from appearing in the "Latest Games" section of the main page. I'm not particularly upset about this, but it sounds like another good reason to completely do away with this feature.

The Colony

An underground setting...?

I'm sold.

Dhux's Scar

This game takes sarcasm to a high (and sometimes annoying)level.

Specific examples would be appreciated. If I know where I'm taking it too far, I'll be able to keep myself in check.

Though the intro has improved massively since the tiny demo I played last time, certain elements of the new intro struck me as pointless and tacked on (IE: the whole picture montage with a sped up version of BOF V's intro theme) But it is an old game, so I'm sure you probably know this already.

Yes, I am now aware of how pointless the picture montage is. I was tempted to remove it altogether for this translated version, but decided against it in the end, since it would have been a shame to let the pictures go to waste after the effort I put into them...

...Not that I remember how much effort that was. Probably not a lot.

Because making chipsets bores and frustrates me out of my mind : (

Although, being the closet masochist that I am, I'll probably end up making custom, or at least somewhat edited chipsets anyway. I wouldn't expect them in the first demo, though.

How did you get here anyway?

...Oh, right. The "random images" feature.

Who Are You Mean To?

Paladins. Oh, poor, poor paladins. Not only do I make them jerks without any redeemable qualities, I also kill them in horrible ways over the course of the story... sometimes more than once.

Giving my characters horribly twisted, tragic backstories is the way I actually show my love for them. Paladins don't even get that.

...I once played a paladin in Diablo II. God, that was boring.
