Demo 1.1 removed due to multiple bugs!
Demo 1.2 is now available!

Version 1.2 Patches:
Fix - Corrected bug that allowed player to walk during messages being displayed

Implementation - Added a "Fast-Load" feature at start of game

Fix - Corrected a few known typos/text errors/misspellings

Implementation - Added explanation on date system in menu (ex. DIA: Month: 22 Day: 19 Year: 815)

Fix - Corrected slight message box transparency issues resulting in hard to read texts

Implementation - Added optional 8-way/4-way toggle in menu

Implementation - Added optional run key change (shift/x) in menu

Implementation - Added 5 manual save slots rather than the previous 1 manual save and 1 auto-save (auto-save function still exists)

Fix - Adjusted character portraits behind message box

Fix - Corrected some minor battle animation issues

Fix - Corrected optional party member, Matisse's LVL being doubled when entering party

Fix - Corrected bug where battle will end if Estes and Nikolai die when Matisse is in the party

Fix - Corrected optional boss not returning after double attack if two characters are KOd

Fix - Corrected status effects and conditions descriptions in menu

Fix - Corrected a bug that prevented negative status effects from displaying when afflicted

Implementation - Revamped EXFONT icons

Ayyyyye! I hope these changes make things a bit more manageable! If you give it another whack, I'd greatly appreciate the report of any bugs found! I gave it a quick run-through, and everything went okay, but I haven't given it a thorough walk-through!

These big reports have been logged and I'm adding them to my list of fixes!

The exp handler and buff/statfx showing in battle after victory is a tough one. I've wracked my brain on trying to get rid of these, but it all comes down to 2k3's engine it unfortunately seems.
Thinking of maybe reaching out to some of the kind DYN plugin community on this one for help, so there may be hope yet, haha!

Currently working on the pacing in battle, there is a lag during turns in battle due to the time it takes to process some of the extra plugin coding and what-not. To make up for this, I decided to make battles a little more drawn out, but plan to have less battles that are more rewarding (skip the grind).

Tutorials are a pain in the game, I know. I'm still searching for a way to implement much smaller tutorials at a time, so you're not loaded with too much information at a time.

I'd love to see the stream! Is it still up, and of so, could you provide a link?

done! Game is cool so far, I liked the difficulty balance (not too difficult if you know what to do, but still challenging), the story and setting. Only two things that left me puzzled:

1 - why just one save slot? It's a pity, anyway you can save anywhere so I won't complain about this.
2 - I like the portraits so much that I'm sad seeing that the dialogue box overlaps them.

Ok, anyway just a couple of details, for the rest no complaint at all! Game for some reason resembles Skydancer to me but I liked the combat system even more.


Hope I managed to address the save slot problems for you in my reply on the main page comments!

As for portraits, I'm still trying to figure out a way to place them in during messages so that that they leave some room for the events taking place on the map, but still show the off the artwork of the busts!
