A Golden Week of RPG Maker 2003
Ok. I'm having some serious difficulty with the "Conditions" tab of RM2k3.
They don't work.
I made one skill to test this theory - a dur fire spell, that uses only the fire "attribute" with that attribute having the magic attribute type. I gave the skill 0/10 attack influence, 10/10 intellect influence, and 0/10 variation with Ignore defense.
Then I made a condition that is SUPPOSED to double intellect for one turn. Have it listed as - Condition always abates after 2 turns, with a 0% chance to recover each turn. (I've also tried 100% chance to recover each turn, always abates after 1 turn, vice versa, all same result)
The result is - the dur fire spell always does the same damage, whether the condition is on or not. On top of that, the condition doesn't even go away after 2 turns, or 1, or anything. It just stays on there indefinitely.
What gives? I've only got one day to complete this blam and this roadblock is going to ruin it.
