I got him, I'm not sure if I did it properly though >_> I'm not usually on bot duty.
Edit - at least the post here, I don't think I have banne power.

I feel like big resource events like SoS and possibly one featuring graphical works has a bit of an underlying problem that nobody really likes to talk about, true as I think it may be.
Think about a large collaboration of assets - specifically music and graphics. Now I could be wrong, but I think the biggest reason a lot of people shy away from using staple generic assets like RTP is because of how COMMONPLACE they can be. It seems as if most devs want unique assets that won't act like an overused bag spanning a large number of games. Also, I feel like the event itself will be viewed as a sort of 'exclusive thing' that they may feel taboo to use the resources from, not dissimilar to another devs project. Then again, this is mostly the aftermath of big asset creation events, a lot of what I'm more worried about is on the asset creators side.
Everyone loves artists and musicians that can crank out professional assets for a game. So much so that devs without talent are willing to pay for their services. Now I know that asset creators are just as diverse as devs are, but I'd be willing to wager that they tend to have a very full plate of to-do's most of the time, never mind the fact that they too have their own projects that they would like to work on. I feel like that's probably hard enough to balance between commissions, personal projects, and team projects. I know I for one don't seem to get a lot of reactions in discord when I poke artists for their talent availability.
Of course I could be totally wrong and all of our artists/musicians are bored off their cans and need an event like SoS to keep them sane.
