Oh yes! I remember reading that, and correct me if I'm wrong, it's two phases? And the first phase involves voting for who's going to be the final two?
Which... I mean, it at least avoids situations like what happened here, where people were spreading votes aimlessly while a bafoon amassed thoughtless votes and got himself elected. Although the whole Republicans vs Democrats thing still confuses me a bit.

But yeah. :( if that's the case and there's only these two to pick from... Woop.

BTW, I find it kinda baffling that Trump was impeached yet he remained president, it really is kinda confusing. (I'm once again trying to draw parallels to understand the situation because around here our president is absolutely amassing impeachment processes)

Also it's weird to see how important the US elections are to Brazilians, as well as to any other citizen of any other country really, given how much what the US does affects the rest of the world (and the other presidents like to imitate them)

I wonder what sort of global effect would a president that's radically opposite to what trump presents entail globally, even if not directly, on a cognitive level / on what sorts of new world leaders would emerge in the tail of such a president (given that Trump likely spawned, or at least encouraged, the likes of some such as the current president of Brazil)

This is exactly what got Bolsonaro elected, since his oppositor was Haddad, a Worker's Party candidate, and a highly qualified one at that -- but given that he's from the Worker's Party brazilians were just WE'RE GONNA VOTE BOLSONARO SO WE DON'T VOTE PT or I'm Not Going To Vote In The Only Possible Opposition To Bolsonaro

I myself am sort of guilty of that as I voted on Marina Silva who, while she's a woman I absolutely admire, has obviously never had a chance of being elected and my vote was as good as nil. (she got 1% of the total votes only.)

I'm really rooting for Biden. We really need a switch in the global seats of power.

I don't think it does vbut I think it's compatible with patches that increase it past 9999. At the very minimum, I know it doesn't increase the PICTURE limit past (somewhere between 999 and 1500) by itself.

Will this work on the version on RPGMakerWeb? Its going for like 3 bucks now and this looks like a really awesome mod.

I think the RMW and Steam versions are the same, includingly i think you can just run the program directly from the steam install folder in the steam version and run it without going through Steam.

That's kind of what happens when you apply the patch, too. It duplicates the .exe, and the new .exe will NOT run through steam. (by default, I guess.) So you create a new shortcut.

3 bucks is a steal. It's definitely worth the purchase. Even at full price, it's cheap and very competitive to the other rpg makers.

What exactly prevents you from just duplicating Paralysis and changing the name?

Does anyone here have any idea of how to patch out the battle UI? Like, literally just move the Actor Status window('s rm2k3 equivalent) 100 pixels or so offscreen

With the Maniacs patch now giving access to BATTLE common events that occur EVERY FRAME, it's very easy for anyone to make their own custom RM2k3 battle UI and override the default one.




This is very useful for lots of reasons: You can very accurately display status effects now, for example. You can even display the characters' statuses in real time. You can easily make an Enemy Status Window just like the actor one. Etc.

But... Right now, if you do that, you're forced to use the Battle UI Mode 3, so you can completely occlude the previous UI and not have any trouble with overlapping with the command / skill windows. If it was possible to hide the UI, though, you could display the new, picture-based UI on a layer BELOW the actual battle UI, and when a character's turn comes on their window would properly occlude the (fake, picture-based) Actor Status window.
