FINAL FANTASY: RECORD KEEPER
Have to redo Belias. Beat him, but didn't get mastery because Yuna and Y'shtola died. I did it without Shellga/Protectga and Y'shtola got off her Stoneskin right before dying. So, yeah, don't follow my example and actually bring some mitigation. I think Protectga is optional if you can drop an early Blind on Belias, who can hit everybody quite hard with a group Attack, but Edgar was slow to the punch.

Because there's no second FFT banner, I have no idea when the bonus battles are supposed to happen. Tomorrow, maybe?

Deltree, I summoned your RW during a daily dungeon. I am mildly bothered that you're using the Judgement Blade quote while Agrias is equipped with Hallowed Bolt.

I saw a lot of complaints at NeoGAF and reddit. It seems like the FFT banner might not have the correct drop rates and that the "huge drop rate bonus" plastered across the non-SSB uniques is a myth, and this is the reason there are so many off-banner relics being drawn.
Ultimate Belias doesn't look that nasty, but I'll have to bring a Boostga to compensate for a lack of synergy weapons. I'll probably give Yuna my White Staff and have her nuke with Holy and Alexander. Alexander is only rank 1, and I'll probably hone it once for this fight. Two casts would knock out half the HP of the adds. The Poison and Slow vulnerabilities mean I'll probably bring Locke and Edgar again, along with Flashing Blade Sephiroth. Doing all of that in the first two rounds should kill the adds no problemo. Shellga seems mandatory but Protectga seems skippable.
Yeah, they're really strong. Steiner was a niche-use character for me with his Spellblade/Knight combo, but he's been made pretty much irrelevant now that Agrias exists. Pretty Cecil can still backrow, so he'll have his uses, but he and Beatrix are probably going to become bench-warmers as well.
Ramza is just amazing, and even has one of the better default limit breaks out there. Ninja was a good idea because fitting in Shadowsteel was often awkward and is usually the reason I used Tyro for previous sap-vulnerable bosses.

Ability-wise, I'm liking these FFT characters. 5* supports are always welcome, and so are knights with protectga level white magic. And she's a spellblade to boot!

Something that is connected to a thing is going to take less work to get working with the thing than something that is not naturally connected to the thing. Of course there is no automatic connection - that is something that needs to be worked into both of the things - but the fact that some kind of innate connectivity already exists between the two things will make it a bit easier to get it to connect than to create a whole new thing to get two non-innately-connected-at-all things to connect.
Unless the connection to the thing is completely fucked up and a horrible mess to sort through, but from what I have heard thus far that is not the case.
Dumbed even farther down - there exists a connection between MV and browsers already. It's not anywhere close to being what is required for a MMO but a link does exist. This means that making Ace compatible with something that would allow MMO connectivity vs making MV compatible with something that would allow MMO connectivity, there already exists an ability to link with MV which cuts down a little of the work. It's not much, and I never claimed it was, but the sheer fact that some link is there already means that you don't have to recreate that particular link like you do with Ace.
You're still saying shit that doesn't make any sense, Liberty. This is a subject you're ignorant of, so just stop talking about it as if you have any inkling of an idea. Running a game in a browser doesn't mean it has any sort of network connectivity at all. At all, at all. Not at all. Zip. Zero. Nothing. Nope. Nada.

It'd make it easier to get the game out there for people to play without having to juggle through connections to the actual program itself. And it makes it a lot more accessible for people, meaning more people are more likely to play since they don't have to download a bundle of files instead.
So yeah. Again, MV and Ace are the way to go if this is a thing you want to do. Ace already has scripts for it, MV would be easier to set up as online being that the game itself is able to be browser-based and thus has the ability to interact with networks on some level by default.

In the past month I've tied my worst 11-pull streak twice. If my FF6 pull is a bust then I'll have a new personal best.
I like that this event has new background art. I am mildly annoyed when they use backgrounds from the wrong games. In other news, my Devout unlocked both RMs in the very first FFT dungeon, so now I can bench her forever.
I keep thinking about doing another pull. Not getting something from FFT is different because I don't have any FFT gear. If I fail to get an FF6 item or whatever, it's not that big of a deal since I have alternatives. With the new dungeon update, I'm now up to 136 Mythril so I'd still be able to pull on FF6 and FF12. We're also getting a daily dungeon update soon, which will be another like 10 Mythril or so (unless they reset the whole thing, then it's a lot of Mythril). It does put some of my future pulls at risk, though.
Okay... I pulled and got a Defense Veil (FF10). I guess it's something, but from the wrong game. I thought I accidentally pulled on Yuna's banner but this item isn't featured there--just awkward luck.
Eh, fuck it. Did a third pull. Got a White Staff (FFT), Sniper (FF6), and Thunder Rod (FF4). Lots of off-banner stuff again. I also got a third Royal Crown or whatever it's called (FF6), a new 3-star Bastard Sword (FF6), a third Maneater (FF6), and a third Platinum Dagger (FF12). The Thunder Rod is pretty keen for a generic because FF4 is so mage heavy and it has a lightning damage bonus.
