FINAL FANTASY: RECORD KEEPER

I'll probably have to wait until next week to clear out these double dailies. Insufficient stamina. Anybody know if we'll get enough MC2 lodes from events to cover all of the characters? Deciding if I'll be grabbing them from the chocobo shop or not.

I'm trying to be less of a sucker, so I won't be getting Bravely Second. I've already fallen for it twice.

I love the Stargate movie but never cared for the show.

I didn't know FF5's music was disliked. It's not as good as FF4 or FF6, but it's pretty dope in its own right. Some of my favorites are Exdeath's boss theme and Buttman's hometown music.

kentuna, maybe you could try Final Fantasy Dimensions on mobile. It certainly won't address your story-related concerns, but the number of ability slots you have grows as the game progresses, so you can customize your party more. It has a lot fewer jobs than FF5 but it's also a shorter game. Graphics are ugly, though, but at least the music is pretty dope:

Blind Belias, buff your damage, hit Archdemon with holy damage, AoE the Archdemons down, and get two forms of magic mitigation and slow up before the weak phase (Shellga/Wall superior, Shellga/Magic Breakdown sufficient). You should only miss 1-2 damage medals and nothing else. You're a veteran player and should have diverse enough hones to achieve this.

It's probably a good idea to knock out the Relm event within the first two days. Daily dungeons reset on the 13th and that'll cost quite a bit of your daily stamina. Obviously you don't have to do the dailies right away, but it's nice to have Mythril.

Jeroen_Sol, maybe you should share more detail about what's killing you instead of mashing the keyboard in frustration.

I don't think Slow/Hastega matter against Weigraf because he seemingly counterattacks everything with a 2000+ damage Stop. The trick is to use actions that can't be countered. Use Advance+Retaliate or a Reflect strategy and he will be far, far easier.

Been using these guys a lot lately, since they're so good at doing group-wide damage while dropping important status ailments.

Made a few small tweaks, and one big one to my timing. The most important thing was not pushing Belias into his weak phase until I had enough meter for Stoneskin. Cyclops is a real mother and even with Shellga up it still hits for 3k, though you can probably weaken that with Magic Breakdown if you can slot it.

Belias didn't really use his status conditions the first time I fought him, except for a single confusion, so I replaced Y'shtola's Esuna with Shellga to help mitigate some of the damage from Titan and Archdemon's Unholy.

Archdemons don't use their worst spell at full HP, so I focused on getting Belias Blinded before I started doing the AoE. Edgar failed his Blind Shell again, but Locke got lucky and picked up the slack. Reminder: Machinist Shells can be used from the backrow, which might help avoid some of the Attack damage from the Archdemons early on.

Archdemons die with the following: Alexander x2, Flashing Blade, Bio Blaster, and Mirage Dive, so they aren't around for very long. If you've got a group-wide SSB, consider opening with that. Speaking of Bio Blaster... I discovered that it does not have a 100% Poison rate, contrary to my previous successes with it, so I gave Edgar Venom Shell instead of Banishing Strike. Archdemons die before he can use it anyway, and Machinist Shells do more damage than Banishing Strike (and Pound, for that matter) once the status is inflicted.

Shout was enough for Black Materia to do 9k per hit, due to Dragoon's Determination and Sephiroth's absurd innate Attack power.

There was enough damage that Yuna needed to cast Hymn of the Fayth, and fortunately the holy damage against the Archdemons helped generate some extra meter. Double White never activated and Holy was only hitting for 8.8k, so I should've used +Holy damage instead.

Anyway, I've got like 41 Mythril right now, so I'll have enough to pull on Relm 2, but I've decided to save it for Basch 1 afterall. Sorry, Celes.
