Missing Game Developers
Keep in mind that it's a hobbyist community and that a lot of members are fairly young. Younger people's lives and interests change pretty dramatically, so the developer might've lost interest in game development in general or their life might be in flux as they transition into or out of university life or whatever. Be patient, I guess.

how do you create your own monsters in your own games?
Let's be frank. Almost nobody here designs any monsters.

Um what were those sea monsters in FF1 that gave a lot of gold? Those were my favorite.
Kyzoku. The blue pirate guys.

Who cares what the topic is labeled. If there's a monster you like, post it and ignore complaints that it isn't from Final Fantasy.
What Final Fantasy Monster was your favorite?

AtmaWeapon from Final Fantasy 6 was one of the few enemies with a unique battle theme.
The fight was staged on a continent that had been magically torn from the earth, levitating miles above the surface. Atma looked awesome--some kind of six-limbed beast that was a genetically engineered fusion of magic and machine. Periodically the exposed gears in its golden armor would visually wind up in preparation for its ultimate attack, Flare Star: a red and black spectacle that melts about half of the party's health.
The battle was so tense that the only way the writers could follow it was by destroying the world in what amounts to magical nuclear holocaust.
