Are some of these things script-able?

Well, I plan on making a game in the veeery distant future. I want to get all the writing done, including character profiles. Then do the actual art and make sure I like all the designs, blah blah blah. Some of it I'm re-writing right now, even 'though I thought I had it all planned aha...

But I don't know how to script, I don't know how to even begin to script. I look at beginner tutorials and they just completely lose me. I'll probably try to get a scripter after all the writing and designs are done. But some of the features I'm not sure about.

Getting attacked without going into battle, by just talking to the character. This also needs to trigger some diaglog. It can repeat I guess.

Health bar that resets after changing to another map.

One of the characters are supposed to give hints, and this is kinda supposed to change as you progress.

Upsetting the helper causes another character to come out and attack you, the same way the other characters do.

Characters joining the crew only after you've talk to them enough times.

Helper character unlocking certain areas? (This can be the end of the quest, you talk to them to end the quest and it unlocks the area.)

It's a horror-ish game. The character designs are dark and almost everyone is dead(Aside from 3 characters). I don't feel like putting random items for healing would make sense, because it's not a straight up RPG. That's why the health has to reset.

Also why isn't the list function working in preview? Omg I'm sorry if this is horribly spaced.

Thank you for your review. For future reference if anyone is struggling with the game just let me know and I will be happy to guide you through it. The hole you are looking for in the desert is in the bottom right area left of a purple Popsicle. Though it may be better if you don't go through it cause you will find out very quickly that all your assumptions about this game being for kids are wrong. There are some pretty dark themes underlining the game and while I think most of it would go over a kids head, I wouldn't recommend it for children.

Oh really? I usually catch onto that. But I meant as in they would really like the art work and simple game play~ Is there any cursing later on? If not, then it's fine if it goes over kids heads. :P I usually can't play RPG Maker games around my younger cousins 'cause it'll scare them and such, but I figured this one wouldn't.

If that's how you view the characters in the game, then I guess I was pretty spot on in portraying their personalities. That's exactly how I see them. And considering the news above, that's about how they really are.

The rape dialog choice was added when I was almost finishing the game. On later research I found that she had told Daniel that her father raped her. Daniel said it in court, but she denied ever saying that. It's very likely untrue (that he raped her). It's also very likely that she said it just to convince him, and that it was one of the primary reasons why he agreed to murder her parents.

I tried not to maker her a monster... just a twisted person with legitimate motivations. :D

I could not get myself to go with the rape choice anyhow. The beating one(Which had truth in it, as I found out after), worked. It's very odd that she didn't have any signs before this of being a sociopath, but yet of Borderline. The killing seemed to have changed that from the news reportings, and what her brother has said though.

The traits are split up like this, as I see it;
Obsessive love, but not controlling.(Borderline rather than Sociopathy. If she was a true sociopath all the way to heart, that would had been Hell in a hand basket of a relationship. I've never met or heard of a Sociopath to treat their partner kindly.)
Wreckless behavior, both.
Lack of Empathy, both, leaning towards sociopath.
Highly, highly manipulative. Sociopath
Lack of remorse for actions(Although, honestly, if I felt someonereally deserved it, I wouldn't feel remorse either.) Sociopath.
Impulsive behavior. Both--more towards Borderline, because Sociopaths are a little more smarter.
Drug use. Both.

In the end, with the reports I read, she really did love Daniel. She was OBSESSED with Daniel. Instantly she wanted her parents to get a flat with him, and they rejected it. But who knows, Sociopathy is really tricky unlike Psychopathy that's very straight forward.

Uh... I would never call her motivations "legitimate".
Or at least, I think they would be legitimate only in the eyes of somebody inhumanly self-centered. Which, I guess, is how you could describe most adolescents, though luckily not at Suzie's level.

Agreed. She could had simply moved out or manipulated her parents, she obviously had the skills to. She had the money to move out, but for whatever reason it wasn't enough for her I suppose.

omfg iI PASSED HER LIKE 2394723894 TIMES. I thought I checked her already. I'm going to bash my head on the wall.

Also, the jump-scares are on par with Hello? Hell...o? Which is very good! They've worked on me so far.
