Ah well, I do agree that, other than Shadow, the characters started from the 3D games left a lot to be desired.
Nah, he's just as bad as the rest really. He appeared in a bunch of genuinely bad games along with all the other new characters. Because, let's admit it, Shadow the Hedgehog was a crappy game that we are better off forgeting.
The only reason Shadow is so popular is the same reason why so many CONFLICTED ANTI-HEROES with MYSTERIOUS PASTS appear as protagonists in games/movies nowadays: all the emo, dork teenagers love it.
If someone took something from your game
If it's an internal rpgmaker thing, like coding or database stuff, I don't care. But it's nice if people ask.
If a story or some other form of writing is stolen (to the point where it's totally obvious), or it's custom art (like, face art, not sprite edits) I made, I would care quite a lot, even though I don't expect anyone to do such things.

Amy's actually been around since Sonic CD.
But yeah, there's a wiki article that lists some of the characters. Including Big, Shadow and Rouge, none of who I really know about beyond advertisements for crappy games.

Bioware has a very good track record - as hard as it may be to imagine for a Sonic RPG (or even a Sonic game, at this point in time), I think it has a solid shot of being an excellent game.

You could make a mini-forum for each game. Forums typically create more discussion than comment pages.
I'm not big on the comment-style format, honestly. But at the moment, I'll make both a game page and a forum post for my game when I release it on RS, too.

General question on "Skills"
Basically, it multiplies the effectiveness of the INT stat because the INT stat is intrinsically linked to the elemental modifier. 150% damage, as in the example mantlecore shows above, will do more damage regardless of the base effect because it is still enhancing the INT stat to 150% effectiveness.
I don't like using base effect and often base skills on basic stat effectiveness, so this was really useful for me. Base effect typically makes things kinda static.
Having said all that, RMVX solves all these problems so it's not really relevant to me anymore.
And yes, LoD is the only game I know of that did this. It's simply a better way of handling it.
