IG Maker has been released! (English Action Game Maker)
What WIP said. There is a middle-level between programs like IGM and doing straight out C++ coding: programs such as Game Maker or Multimedia Fusion 2. They give you a game making interface, while allowing you to program anything, as well as allowing programmed plug-ins/add-ons.
Hey look it's RMN3!

Hey, it's now possible to see where are the latest posts!
Thanks, WIP. It's way more clear now! :D
Huh? Latest posts where?
RMN3 Bugs
If you try to view a review under someone's submissions, and their review is for a game that's since been deleted, their review will still be listed and linked, but will give a 404 error.
Hey look it's RMN3!
I don't know if this was mentioned yet (I didn't see it in this thread), but I hope you plan to show a list of pages in the forum index (i.e. Topic Name (Pages: 1, 2, 3 ... 6))

Whatever happened to Kav?
I did leave the RM community for a year or two, but decided I really wanted to release a REAL game (as opposed to the low-quality joke games I've released). I'm still workin on it, but it's slow going since I'm doing just about everything custom, and by myself.
Robert Pelloni spotted.

author=MayorAnime link=topic=3202.msg63291#msg63291 date=1235490090Um.. Ruby is a programming language, like C#. If you can program in RGSS/2 (just an API for Ruby in RMXP/RMVX), it's not a big step to program in C# (C#'s easier than C++ btw).
Now if AGM allowed you to code in C3, I would cry like a little girl and pass it over. I'm not a coder. I don't wish to be one. I'm a designer. That's why game making programs that use a scripting language are like nectar and ambrosia to me. The world needs more of those types of applications, so that independent developers can make great games without needing a programmer. I'm sure that even stating that opinion is a C-class felony to some people, but it's how I feel. I'd rather make content and write a story than code.

author=myersguy link=topic=3202.msg63131#msg63131 date=1235370899Are you sure you have DirectX 9.0c installed correctly?
I wanted to try the sample games, but they all give me an error when I click them. Too bad I guess...

author=TooManyToasters link=topic=3202.msg63066#msg63066 date=1235344582I have no idea. Enterbrain hasn't said anything about it. Then again, I don't remember them posting about RMVX's RGSS2 before they released RMVX (correct me if I'm wrong).
So was there any confirmation at all on the lack of scripting or are they just not saying anything about it?

author=Shadowtext link=topic=3177.msg62632#msg62632 date=1235089501I think it means the latter. As in, you can further develop the game in XNA Game Studio.
When they say "Exported to XNA" "Exported to Flash," etc, I wonder if they mean "Compiled using those formats" or "Exported to code FOR XNA/Flash."
