KYUBEY'S PROFILE

Hello everyone, I do not make any games, at least not yet (Who knows what the future may hold?) but I am an avid player and appreciator of many RPG Maker games.

I do playthroughs of RPG Maker games on my YT channel, and I submit them into media here when I do. Channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwqZW13u9eQiTvhqKG1L6Eg

Question about posting Let's Plays

How many videos should one submit in a single Let's Play submission? Should I submit each one individually, or submit them in batches of 3 or 4 at a time? What's the preference here for most people? I posted all 3 of my Darkness LP vids in one submission and it was accepted, and I'm gonna submit my Desert Nightmare run soon which is 7...

Also, if I am currently in progress of doing an LP, should I post each one individually as I upload them to Youtube, or wait until I have multiple videos and submit them in one thing like I did with Darkness?

Just not sure what people here prefer, I'd like to do it the way the community prefers as I don't really mind either way!

Castle Oblivion 3

Its fine, thanks for clearing up my question!

Castle Oblivion 3

Hey just wanted to say, this is one of my favorite RPG Maker games! I downloaded and played it a little while back, finished it around a couple of months ago. The good ending was so....good. It really, really made the whole journey feel worth it and gave a very warm feeling, and that credits theme just sealed the deal. One of the best conclusions to a game I've seen in a long while actually.

I'm gonna go try out these optional bosses now!

EDIT: Decided to just restart the whole game, I'll hunt down and fight the bosses once I reach the endgame again. This game is fun =3

EDIT 2: You know, despite having finished this game once I am not sure I know what all the stats are for. I would think SPI would effect magic power but it does not seem to do so. On both my newer file and my endgame file, Evan's healing spells heal for the same amount of HP, and his wind spells do the same amount of damage. Is SPI magic defense or something?

Also, the strength and defense stats seem to have a very, very, very minimal effect on how you perform in battle...but maybe this was intentional, since the game is meant to be strategic and not just "SPAM THE MOST POWERFUL STUFF OVER AND OVER TO WIN." I definitely notice a small effect with those, and I have no problem with this either.

still, the SPI remains a mystery as it seems to have absolutely no effect on my spells at all. Could you clear it up?

Tears of Envia

Been playing this game, enjoying it so far, though there seem to be a lot of bugs still.

In Leviathan's dungeon, when those 4 monsters pop up to fight you, there is no battle. They just disappear as if a battle was won, and you can move on.

When you get to the train, I don't know if this is intentional but it seemed like I had to move weirdly all over the place in order to get the text to move forward. I would have to fully circle the train, then move back and forth around the bottom left or middle part of the screen to make characters talk until the boss appeared.

During the night at the castle after the first trial is completed, when you go into the bedroom, you have to move a bit left of the doorway in order to trigger the sleeping event. Seems like it should be something that triggers when you first walk in, I think you misplaced the trigger a bit. Also, if you exit the room and try to go back in, Lance says he has to go find everyone again, and you can repeat the mirror event (this fixes the bug and lets you sleep too.)

Finally, I just got Muntu...with no battle. I don't know, maybe I missed something in the text but I swear he said I had to fight him...then..I just got him. I dunno if this is another glitched battle, but if it is, it probably needs fixing.

These are the biggest bugs I've found so far. Other than that, I really enjoy the game. It's challenging but not impossibly difficult or majorly frustrating (as long as you make use of everything the game gives you) and I like the story so far. The dialogue is kinda..silly in many places, but I understand English is not your first language so I don't hold it against you. I can tell you're trying to convey a very serious story in this game.

I haven't played Final Tear 1 or 2, are they required to play to understand the events in this game? Cuz I have no idea what's going on so far, though you did say this is one of those stories which won't really make sense until the very end, so if that's the case I'll keep playing and see. :P

Also, out of curiosity, are there more than 4 playable characters in the game?

Desert Nightmare (English Translation)

I've played through this game two or three times, I enjoy it, I even just finished an LP of it, but one thing bugs me..what is the Small Key used for? The one you get by digging up the dog with the shovel. Unless I unlocked something with it without knowing, I've got no idea what it's for, but I always collected it.

Theatre of Strings: Chapter One - The Grief Princess

Absolutely loving those visuals, I can tell they're going to create an amazing atmosphere in this game...can't wait!

The Longing Ribbon

This game is great, despite the fact that friggin chapter 4 boss made me restart like 2 or 3 times XD I've beaten it though, plan on doing an LP soon too.

Imaginary Friends

I'll be following this! :D

Darkness

author=tsuki
but you're away! I do not see at all where you are. I'm looking for the code to the safe in the room hung and that of the dining room

Both of those codes are found on notes. I can't guide you to where they are specifically but they are on the "Confession" and "Weird Note" files respectively. Just search all over if you have not found them yet.

Anyway, to the author of this game: It's pretty good. I was disappointed in the end when I found I didn't even have to use any health drinks, let alone lose half my HP, as it led me to believe the game would be much longer or have much more difficult sections than it did. I forgot however that you mentioned in the summary that you could not make the combat work right, so, I won't be hard on that.

One fatal flaw is at the very beginning, though. If you walk left, it becomes impossible to go anywhere due to how your friends move along with you; I got cornered and was forced to exit and restart the game. This should be fixed, maybe just put a fence along side the walkway so the player cannot walk left, or just make that whole part a cutscene.

Legend of Zelda: Flow of Time - Remastered

I'm nearing the end of the 5th dungeon and I gotta say, this is a great game. It's very challenging, but not so much that it's unfair or "kaizo". Really a game fit for Oracle vets. I loved the Oracle games, they were some of my favorite Zeldas :3

I am curious on where some of the songs come from, though, especially dungeon 2 and the Dungeon of Trials theme (if they all have different themes I'm talking about Dungeon of Trials 2, haven't found 1 or 3 yet XD)

Edit: Saw you listed the main dungeon themes on the "The World" section, so that's dungeon 2 out of the way. Still would like to know what the DoT2 theme is though!
