Starting a new game - Need help with a name (rmxp)
Intro
author=giglameshCollege is one hell of a time sink, I must say. I'm in the same boat, but for Mechanical Engineering.
Ya I hope to make a game with familliar play yet diffrent, I promise to work on as much as I can but i'm in college taking drafting design technology.
Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!
Working on modifying the Load script from what I'm basing my script on to allow for multiple save files (already have save script done).
Beware!!
This is why I don't friend people myself. If they care enough about having me as a friend on Facebook, they can do it themselves. And only for people I know in real life. That way I at least know they care enough to not be likely to pull s*** like this.
Feel sorry for you. Tough situation.

What are the more unique RPG maker games you've seen through the years?
author=pyrodoomOh, god, Ao Oni. I saw that when Pewdiepie (Yeah, blah, blah, I'm subscribed, and don't worry, I'm not some huge fan of his) played it, and that thing needs to go die in a hole very, very far away. It has to be the creepiest thing I've ever seen.
Ignite and Ao Oni. Yes. A Yume Nikki fan game, and a horror game, are the more unique games I've seen/played.
NEED ANSWERS TO MAKE A GOOD TRADITIONAL RPG GAME II (NOT NECESSARILY ASKING HOW TO MAKE A GOOD TRADITIONAL RPG)
A great way to gain story ideas is to base the actions of the group off the characters. What I mean by this is that well developed and interesting characters will often lead to a natural progression of the story since you can better gage how they'll react to everything.
Generally, that strategy is considered a strong jumping off point for plots.

SMT on its own is already kind of like a mature version (and older version) of Pokemon, but I'd still love to see this happen!
Persemon sounds great, just saying.
Hard to argue with that.
Originally the idea for the battle mechanics came with the thought of how you could increase the strategic value of the combat system in Persona without making it overly complicated. An idea I liked involving turn by turn set up ended up in my head, and I went to combine it with a story and world I had been pondering for a while and they fit like a charm. The Pokemon influences are mainly in the graphical design and in a lot of progression methods, with a good number of more minor parts of the battle system (like much more diverse elements and the number of attacks you get).
Though I might be going on a bit much, lol.

Hello, I am old here! Welcome to RMN!
Oh, a crossover would be extremely interesting. So many ways that could end up.
Though, my idea is more along the idea of combining game mechanic concepts for an original game, story, and world. :P
