LIBERTY'S PROFILE
I enjoy playing and creating games (mostly RPGs) and have a love of story and characterisation above graphics. I've been into RM* since '96 and have used all makers - started on the PSX makers, found and used a patched version of the SNES RM, then moved to RM95. When I found RM2K I finally decided to join some forums and I've been a part of the community ever since.

The Featured Game Thread
Last I played it it wasn't complete. Has that changed?
That said, I've been waiting for an event game to feature this month since I know we had two events that are pretty grand. I, too, was thinking Detective Wakasince it's a complete package in visuals, style and character (and being an event game).
My second was Vacation in Nebula or Villain or Unbit. Shit. Okay, I have an idea. I'll make detective mirak featured game, but I'll be doing something else too. Gimme a few hours.

How can Designers Create Levels to deal with Unflexable Players?
I'm gonna be frank. Sometimes, as a player, you have brain farts and fuck yourself over. That's not the devs fault.
What we, as devs, need to do is:
- be open to the idea we might need to redesign or fix something
- realise that sometimes players are dumbasses
It's hard to balance the "should i fix this" vs the "no the player is a fucking moron" sometimes, but it's something you gotta figure out.
Usually you can figure it out by seeing how many people fall for the same issues, but a one-off is usually an idiot player. And they exist. I've seen people play games that they really shouldn't be playing because they are moronic cow people who don't know that picking up a chest will help them later on. Or because they're a bad match for the type of game their playing (me and bullethells, for example).
As a dev you gotta judge case by case.

1.44 Floppy Disc Event
So I did make a playlist of games that have pages for this event: https://rpgmaker.net/users/Liberty/playlists/121171/
Lemme know if I'm missing anyone's games (just finished doing the queue, btw, so ones that were there that got accepted should be on the list).

Locking this as you already asked for this in your other thread and don't seem to have taken any notice of the last threads talk. Also, because this is becoming spammy. People, please don't troll.

Please turn these into MV generator parts!
You have three choices.
Either commission someone to make the parts for you.
Edit pre-existing parts/learn do make stuff for yourself.
Go through every RPG Maker resource site and search for them yourself. I suggest also hitting up deviant art and pixel-art based places to see if maybe what you want already exists.
From the sounds of it, though, you'll likely want to start learning how to pixel. It's an invaluable skill for a dev to have anyway, even if it's just editing stuff to fit what you need.
