The official English 2k3 version is out!
Only the non-official release of 2003 supports DynRPG right now. Word was that there'd be some kind of official integration at some point, but I think somebody will have to step up and do it.
This was pretty cool. Do you have a bookmarked and labeled debugger file for the runtime? I'd love to take a look at it, even if it's an old one.

Cherry is currently hibernating for the upcoming season. It is anybody's guess as to when the next version officially supporting battle pictures will be out.

The software you'd be looking for to do that kind of job is called a runtime packer, which essentially boxes your EXE and its dependencies within another EXE. Check the (antiquated) "Molebox" to get an idea of what this does.
I'd advise against doing this, as it creates another layer of abstraction that potentially introduces new bugs and instability into your project. There's also the annoying side-effect of numerous anti-virus programs hating packed executables, mainly because it's a known method for distributing malware.
