An interesting thing happened to me from 0.28 to 0.29. 0.28 has no problem displaying the editor at 200% zoom settings, but 0.29 is very unstable. High DPI monitors are a Windows nightmare

[RMVX ACE] Bleach RPG Game [Writer, Scripter, Programmer, sprites]

I have finally got enough courage to create a bleach game on the RPG maker using some of the format from the DS game Bleach: 3rd Phantom. As you guys might not know, that game was actually written by the author "Tite Kubo" himself so I will be incorporating all of that in the game i have planned.
First off, grats on finding the courage to step up to the little leagues. I think you'll find even though we're blunt at times, we want to see people like you grow. Why are you just re-glossing over material that has already been in another game? Will you bring a new angle to the story or do something differently that alters player's perspectives in a radical way? You have to get to thinking about these things when you make fan games. That's a semi-pro tip.

Not a good idea. People need to understand the things they commit to or learn, like REALLY frikkin' quickly! You wouldn't ask a person who has never picked up an instrument before to fill in for your burnout guitarist who got too stoned right before the next gig. That would be tantamount to self-sabotage.
Maybe you could ask Kubo for pointers, sounds like you two are on a first name basis! *WINK WINK* *NUDGE NUDGE*
About Copyrighted Materials In RPG Maker Games
It's a low risk, low consequences situation if you get caught with copyrighted "Square Enix" resources. Most of these companies don't want to or have time to pursue litigation against a tiny no-name developer. A cease and desist would probably be the most you'd see. Less people are using copyrighted old rips these days, but despite what some scaremongerers will tell you, the chance of being caught is the same as it was in 2003.
That said, more people look down on copyrighted material now than in the past. The official RPG Maker web community expressly forbids any games shared on its site from having said materials. I can't speak for the Steam community though. Here, most of us don't really care. People are laid-back, lots of hobbyists.
Just make the game you want, but be aware we're not living in the same nostalgic and happy days of the early 2000s. :(
