A victorian age horror. In an age when Christian dogma and Industry has spread across the world, the old gods of the forest are restless.

Do you need RPG maker XP to play it?

The Here and Now of Yesterday

I should probably download it again, there have been some bug fixes since I got it.

What kind of computer can't play the sort of AVI files rpg maker uses? They have to be so small to run well in it that your computer would have to be from the early 90s not to run them.

I'm not saying that as an insult, just that I believe there must be something else going on.
Because it's inconceivable for a computer that exists in the here and now can't play avi files of around 4 meg.

Cant get my profile bg to change

Is there a page somewhere that tells you how to do this. Because I've never seen any of this stuff before and I'd love to make the comments section semi transparent, make the font white and put a dark forest background behind it that scrolls with the browser.

But this seems totaly alien to me.

Caroline & Alexander

Hey. Tried to leave this as a review but it was denied for some reason.

REVIEW:

I love the feeling on this brief snippet of what could be a grand project. The dialogue has a depth of emotion and the visuals are great. I love the way that conversations are handled (with animated pictures and a strip of transparency backing the text.)

I was keen to find out who the people were and what was going on in their world. Even though this demo is incredibly short it was genuinely effective on an emotional level.

The only fault is the brevity of it. Is there more coming or is this the end?

I see Novella really inspired you.

Is Novella the name of a game or are you talking about a particular literary Novella?

EDIT:
Wow, just searched for Novella and found the pictures of the no face people and the doors in the woods. That's pretty cool how similar our stuff looks, going to have to give it a play. Had no idea it existed.

It didn't inspire me before but it might now. HA HA

EDIT: and a train, holy shitballs.

Haha, yea scary door. I love futurama. It was weird, for a while after we started making this game, every horror movie seemed to have a red door slap bang in the middle of a scene. So we'd sit there and think, "damn, everyone will think we ripped this off." But then we've been making it for so many years now, those films are long out of the public mind.
