those iron grates holding the thing up look completely off because they probably should be the same size when the path moves upwards. Here's what I mean;

I see what you're saying, Frogge. The map this screenshot is from is much larger than what you see here and I think that's the only spot where the scaffolding path changes like that and touches the ground, so it may look off.

Should maybe move those monsters up a bit? That orange line on the bottom doesn't look too appealing either.

The more I look at this the more I agree. I will be editing this battle backdrop eventually.

When X levels up, the player can select 1 of 4 Upgrade Chips to enhance his abilities. Check out the "Gameplay Features" page to learn more.

You'll notice that, in comparison to older screenshots, the area number and area name are no longer shown. I didn't want to keep too much info on the screen, so the area name and number only appear when you first enter the stage.
