The Highlander's Tomb (Team Forum RPG)

Good point, Ilan. I don't really want to die if possible... So, maybe you could just quickly pull me backwards a bit before using Dark Fire? I just have to stay safe for a moment, as soon as I'm not stunned any more I can probably take care of things myself again.

The Highlander's Tomb (Team Forum RPG)

"Arrrgh!" I do nothing as I am stunned and injured.

Yeah, that's pretty much all I can say or do. I should have kept my mouth shut about us doing well...

Ilan, I agree that you should fight the spearmen rather than the elementals. They seem to get destroyed one after the other by the pillar, and though they can stun us, the spearmen could actually kill us. Go for them first.
Also, don't forget you still have your Empower skill, which you could use on yourself or Razuna in case things get really ugly.

Edit: Oh, right: Razuna, send Gourd to attack the spearmen close to Bazyli. We can't risk him getting killed.

Edit 2: seiromem, please remember to update the OP with Wes' new level and ability. Just sayin'.

The Highlander's Tomb (Team Forum RPG)

Well done, guys! Looks like we aren't doing too badly right now. And thanks for the save, Wes!

I duck down in order to make myself harder to target and use Quick Load to shoot the spearman closest to me. Then I put my crossbow away and grab my hatchet so I can continue fighting in melee combat. I also try not to accidentally get hit by Zuko's Reaver Slash, and tell to others to watch out, too.

Edit: By the way, we should try to look for and move towards a possible exit. If the grey sand means the cave is about to collapse, we have a problem.

The treasure is in...UGH!...(drops dead)

Is there a specific story behind this status?

V Will respond in pictures instead of words.

The Highlander's Tomb (Team Forum RPG)

Thanks for healing me, Bazyli. We're going to need all our combined power now.
No choice but to fight. I am NOT going to allow these creeps to literally send us all to hell!

Don't feel obliged to agree with my plans, but this is what I think we should do: Wes will have to protect us and stop the bone people from rushing us all at once, perhaps by using Small Barrier to block off one side. Bazily is probably the only one of us who can effectively fight the elementals, so you should save Buster Ball Blast (which is MAGI!) and Holy Covenant for those. Zuko, after you've attempted to cause a commotion again, you could prepare yourself to use all your skills to smash as many enemies as possible. If you kill a lot of them in a short time, the other might panic. The same goes for Razuna, though you might want to save Fake Out for special cases. Gourd could also be useful to distract enemies who attack us, maybe he could even pick out their eyes.
I will wait for Zuko's attempt at Demonic Charm, then immediately shoot the leader in the head. In case I miss, I use Quick Load with a Quartzine bolt and try again. If I hit I will target the giant bees after that. Also, I cast Welken Bolster on Zuko to make him even more powerful.

The Highlander's Tomb (Team Forum RPG)

My turn to complain. Nothing personal, seiromem. Please don't kill me...

So, uh... Are we waiting for anything specific? I think we all posted our actions.

P.S.: Ilan, I wanted to say earlier already that I think your idea for your action is brilliant. Now just hope the DM thinks that too...

Edit: Oh, wait! Wes didn't specify his action yet. Uh, I guess you could try to shield Bazyli and prepare yourself to cast either Small Barrier to block off some enemies or Benevolence in case one of us gets cornered?

The Highlander's Tomb (Team Forum RPG)

Yeah, good thinking, JJJ. Perhaps you could instruct Gourd to irritate the shaman so he loses concentration? Who knows, it could cause the elementals to disappear or lose power or become uncontrollable...

How Far: First Gameplay Footage!

Calling this "fantastic" would be an understatement. The idea of Daszk "rediscovering" an organic world is really fascinating. The way you managed to combine story progress, characterization and RPG and Adventure gameplay in almost every aspect makes me want to play it even more now! Great job!

P.S.: Will Rami be a playable character as well at some point, or is he staying behind all the time?

The Highlander's Tomb (Team Forum RPG)

I agree with wildwes. We should plan our next move carefully. We've gotten ourselves into a situation where one wrong step could literally mean our end.

First of all, I suggest we try something simple: Bazyli could just ask the bone people leader what will happen to us if we jump into the pit. Not that it's likely we're actually going to, since Ilan was probably right about it being our certain death, but it might give us more information. We should do anything to buy extra time anyway, so we can prepare ourselves and get me healed up. Wes' new skill might do wonders here, too. Maybe we could even use it to cover our retreat , since it creates thick mist...

For now, I think it would be best if we try to stall for as long as possible, whether by trying to negotiate, asking questions or distracting the bone people's attention away from us. However, if something does go horribly wrong and one of us is close to getting killed, I will shoot their leader in the head, as well as cast Welken Bolster on Zuko to give him extra fire power.

What do you think?
