Addit, LockeZ: It's not a full remake of the game, and I'm not touching the old project. It's essentially a complete gutting and removal of a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge amount of the really explicit fangame elements to make them more subtle references, and focus on the actual, core plot that lay underneath the glorified fetch quest that is Cosplay Crisis.

Basically, there is another work of mine that follows the non-fangame lore/is set in the same universe, and while I've had to make CC unnecessary to play (because it's basically uncompletable unless you have an unbreakable will), CC's underlying plot is extremely important to the overall outcomes of the other game, and knowing it is humongously beneficial to a person's understanding. plus it actually has levi and kumo in it so

A) Yes. I am an asshole.

B) I've been in dev communities for 7+ years now. I've done this myself, and I have seen this 10000000000x times. These kinds of threads pop up, sometimes get members, games go nowhere, etc.

These days this is way more detrimental than, say, 5 years ago. We live in a world where indie games are thriving. Sweat Equity is all well and good but you need proof that it's going to pay off, number one. Number two, like I said, there are too many positions, and 2k3 is not viable content for a demo reel (aka what will get you a job in game dev)

And while they've said they're working in Ace, they have nothing to present that has been made in Ace.

When you do start up like this you make a few small projects (non commercial), get your name out there, and then start asking. You don't even need a dedicated coder or artist for Ace projects these days. And an start up indie studio doesn't need more than four or five team members.

That's a nice play on words. But given the game is probably going to be a puntastic cluster of wit and sarcasm, Levi's last name probably isn't something that'll make it into a review title.

I still have to decide on the other five cast member's names, but they're not playable in what I'm working on nor important at current. Changing Levi's last name is kind of like a revival/rebirth/reanimate stepping stone.

(It used to be Raionomoi. Levi Rhyne is a much much much much better name.)
