RAMZA'S PROFILE

I've spent a large part of my 26 years designing video games, mostly in my head. When I discovered RPG Maker 2000, I finally had a medium to put my thoughts down into, and I did.

At the time of its release, Mana Conquest was massive - even a ten hour long game was insane in those days, and the graphics kind of sucking was generally overlooked, due to the scope of the project.

Several years since, and I'm a bit embarrassed concerning how bad the first game really was. I've tried to fix that in the sequel, but between when I started, and now, there have been three new RPG Makers, and since they don't allow backwards compatibility, I've been stuck on RM2k3. Shameful.

I've come too far to quit now, though.

Edit: Argh, why are Shrouds in such a short supply... I could do with some for the Brynhildr fight... damn random drops >.>

That was an issue I was still having at the end of the game. There's an accessory that makes them drop more often, but it still doesn't really help.

RPG Maker 2003 patch 108

As I recall, the update made .mp3 music work a lot better.
I can't recall any of the other changes offhand though. Maybe the enter hero name thing was fixed too.

Various Musical Compositions

I really like these songs. I can definitely see people using these in professional games.

What are you working on now?

after going through the entire dungeon and killing EVERY enemy on the way up, I discover that the boss is way too easy after doing this. Need to rebalance the whole thing now.

What are you working on now?

adding treasure to a dungeon... then test playing it to make sure the monsters aren't too tough to handle. then test playing the boss on easy mode and normal mode to make sure it's not too tough to handle.

2D or 3D?

I'm not now, and have never been a fan of the metroid games, having only played the nes one for a very short time when I was rather young. I have to say though, if I had a Wii, I would buy that game in a heartbeat.

Please post here oldbies. I am very tired and I cannot see very well...

I also like how the dude said his mockup CBS was better than Velsarbor's, but regardless, at least you could fucking play Velsarbor.

I like how this mockup looks like it plays slow as shit.

anybody have?

I just tried it out and had the same problem.
Clicking the download button downloads a 366byte .png file that is empty. and right-click -> saving it saves a similiar file named "none.png".

Must not be compatible with IE8. Seems like most things aren't nowadays.

So, I got "Pokemon: SoulSilver"

you can always slap a vulpix in the GTS looking for a growlithe for trade, that's how I got mine. I can't do that with mantine or gligar though, as I've never seen those guys before. =/
don't bother searching for a growlithe in the GTS yourself though, you'll find all kinds of people who think they'll get a lv 100 arceus for their level 3 growlithe, or any manner of other retarded trade they can think up.

Mana Conquest is still looking for a review on here. *puppy dog eyes*. I'll warn you though, clear your schedule, it's damn long.
