Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance

Hmm, so something like in Star Ocean 2? If you complete the bonus dungeon and then go to beat the game again the final boss is powered up? That probably wouldn't be too hard to do, if that is what you are thinking.

Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! As Ashiee said, if we do another game it'll have a brand new plot. The gameplay will still be mostly the same though, besides improvements and new systems. =)

As for the Alex/Ramuh thing, I will look into it and get it fixed.

Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance

The weapons should all be listed in the FAQ section, check that out and if you still have questions feel free to ask. Thieves Writ comes from Kutan.

The Fire Charm is unsellable so don't worry. The Fire Shrine is the area at the bottom of the Gurgu Volcano, where the Fire Crystal was.

EDIT: Nevermind, apparently those sections weren't completed. I'll get on that.

Kaayu: Head to the manor in Cecille, up to the second floor. There should be a maid NPC at the door to the room where the party is captured early in the game.

99: Head to Kutan and talk to Allie, then head to the Thieves' Cave.

Divinus: Head to Mielo and do the sidequest. After the boss, head back to town and speak to everyone.

Abelia: Head to Enaya, there should be a NPC near the well.

Cassie: Head to Rosalia and speak to Jolteon outside the church.

Gradd: Head to the Inn on the Plain, there should be a new NPC inside.

Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance

There's an NPC near the Riverside Cabin, it becomes available near the end of the game.

Latest patch has been updated to 1.64.

-Fixed a passability issue in Garuda's Peak.
-Fixed an issue where magic evasion was applying to certain spells, causing them not to apply positive effects.
-Fixed an issue where the ability "Wide Volley" could cause enemies to become unkillable.

Bug Reports

I believe I have found and fixed the issue. The latest patch has been updated, give it a shot. I tried Wide Volley in several situations and it didn't cause any problems. Sorry for the trouble!

Bug Reports

Can you still run away? Wide Volley specifically has been causing problems, but I thought they were fixed, apparently not. I'll have a look at it.

Bug Reports

Oh yikes, that'll be fixed asap! Thanks for the report.

Final Fantasy Discovery Boss Battle Test: Jaharan Giant

It's all nice and good, but that font used in name display for dialogue is not a good choice IMO; it's a bit too futuristic and too bold I think. Something more simplistic in design would be better.

It looks like the FF13 font that he is using for a lot of his menu text. It just looks a bit awkward in the context of the battle HUD and UI elements without having seen it in other places first I think. I'm sure when every dialogue box in the game looks like that it won't look so jarring in battle.

Fight looks cool though! I like the shield mechanic and crisis mode. It's nice that you announce it like that to allow for more strategy, in my game some bosses will just suddenly go into pissy boss mode when you get their HP low without warning, haha.

Cat Nip, Gold Saucer, The Echo

I like the idea of the Cactpots from FF14! I am wondering though how tying them to intervals of time like that rather than something like steps/number of map transfers/number of battles/etc is going to go. Someone who plays the game like a fiend might only get to do one or two Jumbos before they're finished with the game (I know unless it's 100+ hours long I'll probably play through it in that timespan!). Unless of course there are secret ways in the game to get an extra ticket here and there. As for the minis, I bet a lot of people will just leave the game running a lot so they get more chances.

Please don't take this as criticism because I think the cactpots are a really cool and fun feature, just interested on how that will all work.

As for Minfillia, besides the echo, do her special abilities include other things authentic to her in FF14 such as getting kidnapped, sending you on endless amounts of fetch quests, and sitting around while the rest of the party does all the work? >_>
