Did you see my map that I posted here? I swore I posted it and now a few days later it is gone. If that was intentional I understand. It was the island village.

Wanting to succeed through teamwork and then having a bunch of people fail on you and then failing alongside them isn't exactly a horrible shameful mistake worth hiding out of sight.
ShortStar da real mvp tho
Thanks LockeZ

No offense
I looked at your mapping and its quite nice. It needs some work, but I did this as a tribute.

Ace Mapper looking to map
Yep I'm wonder if I'm 'good enough' all the time. That's why this is a for free sort of thing. Some of the maps are VX and not Ace. This is from a topic that is around 3 years old. I wouldn't say they're inefficient when my style can churn out 4 maps in 90 minutes. I've done taller houses and buildings for people, but it all depends on the style I'm told or not told to do.
1 high tile walls, because the characters in VX and Ace are 1 tile high Chibi style. It seems to make sense like 2 tile high walls for 2 tile high players makes sense.
Made a new one.

Tortura Island
Biome: Tropical Island
Character Tie-Ins: A few former members of Rackward's old pirate crew use this island as their hideout. They are not on friendly terms with him, having unsuccessfully attempted mutiny because they felt they weren't getting their fair share. He left them stranded on a tiny island, but they somehow survived (each of them telling a different story as to how). Rackward would prefer that the rest of the party not know about his past life as a pirate; this is where they learn it anyway.
Notable Features: An outdoor cantina, the Sun-Kissed Minnow, is the central feature of the village. In fact, there's not much else to it except an inn, a couple of shacks and some fishermen. One of the shacks is the hideout of Rackward's former crew members.
Description: Wooden platforms raised above the water like docks and connected to each-other make up a large part of the village, or maybe all of it. All the "shops" are actually patrons at the cantina.
Now behold! Tortura Island!

So much getting done, except it's all done by one person.
That describes me at work. Team of 5 - 10. I'm done in a day or two, the others just discuss. Have meetings, spend 5 hours talking about and strategist what I do in 2 hours with no talk. Team does nothing for the next week. Team leader gets credit and I go unseen. Thus turning me into a jerk and having a need to prove things. To work instead of talk.
author=Red_Novaauthor=macbloErm... wait a minute. Did you just start up a community project, get a whole bunch of people interested, get a guy to make a bunch of maps for the COMMUNITY project... and then decide to drop it while using the maps made for your own solo project? Essentially waving a giant middle finger to all the others interested?
Thanks ShortStar. The maps look great. By the way guys, I decided to use the maps that ShortStar created to make a project by myself, so I'm dropping this huge project for now.
Please tell me I'm wrong. I reeeealy hope I'm wrong...
No one was interested in the project.
Again the maps are free for anyone to use for a project.

This thing amazing, I love randomly rolling stuff. Reminds of dwarf fortress in the kind of silly things it produces.
Now I wonder what a charming graveyard looks like...
That one is quite easy.... skeletons get up and dance, undead ghoul ladies have dead cats that invite you down for a spot of tea with the grim reaper that has a mustache and a book of art sculpture that he really likes because they're quirky. Happy flowers sing at gravesites, while weeds complain that the earth beneath them is rumbling because the next necronoid is about to break through due to the little girl witch casting spells to have a big graveyard dance party once a month that only the coolest kids in school know about. However, some that have plotted against the giant charming graveyard dance party end up joining in because it looks like a lot of fun, so they put down their pumpkin bombs and dance a jig where no one can see.
Idea generators indeed.
