Why does my game LAG and freezes up when anyone even the enemy USES MAGIC it took me over 20 minutes to win a battle.
I can use jump ok and everything freezes up.

That is pretty weird. No one else has reported that issue, and I've never run into it. What are your computer's specs? Are you running Win 10, 8.1, 7, or something else? Did you try rebooting your system at all?

Hello.
You maybe know this but when i use my old save on the newest build of the game the Lunar whale dissapear when i try to go in to the last Dungeon again.
My thought is that maybe it is not my old save that makes it happen, maybe the bug is still there in the last version.
So even if you plays from the beginning you will not be able to go back and complete some things in the last Dungeon.

Are you referring to after you've beaten the game or before? If it's post-game, there is no way to enter the final dungeon again. If you fly your ship over the Crystal Palace during post-game, you'll see no entrance there. Anything to do with the last dungeon must be done prior to post-game. This is to avoid certain glitches like that and a vast array of others. In hindsight I probably should've removed access to the Lunar passages themselves.

Should be interesting. I can think of a few events that would of been interesting had they gone differently. Delita is probably one of the biggest ones. Others that come to mind are the decisions that ramza's brothers made, and in this universe you could even potentially have balbanes live rather than cid. Could see you doing a lot with agrias/gafgarion as well. Of course the events don't need to be completely limited to characters either. What if there wasn't an event that stopped ramza from going to bethla garrison earlier on in the game? What if because of this he visited places in different orders and had different experiences cause of it? Granted switching the places around is a risky endeavor, but it is one I could see working out too. It's probably safer to keep the default route though. Just depends on how adventurous you decide to be.

As far as engines go, I agree with zadok. If you go with the one you feel the most passionate about, then that will likely lead to the better game. Also I mentioned this earlier, but don't hesitate to let me know if you ever need a tester, or even ideas, though in my mind those two go together. It's not only about finding bugs, but voicing what you think about the game, and how you think it could be improved. Just a little info on how I operate.

I'll stick with the default route for probably the majority of the game, but like in FF4AD, I'll likely end up creating some new areas or visiting a few areas in a different order to spice things up a bit. I'm set on using MV for the engine, and the game will be re-imagined as a classic turn-based FF game. All I gotta say is, thank god for Record Keeper. LOL

I like how you operate! And when the time comes, I'll definitely be asking you to help with testing and feedback. =D Thanks!

You're welcome. Regarding FF Tactics, I would've loved to have seen a strategy RPG based on the Fifty Years War, when Balbanes Beoulve and Cidolfas Orlandu were in their prime. It would've been interesting to see how the events of that war lead directly into the War of the Lions. It would also be an excellent opportunity to flesh out other characters such as Gaffgarion, Wiegraf, and Elmdor when they were rookies. However, I don't trust the current Square-Enix to do it justice.
I wouldn't trust them either. That's an interesting idea, but I think I'm going to try to go with recreating the original story except with an alternate take on some of the events. I'm just debating whether or not to use Gubid's tactical RPG scripts for VX Ace, or to try my hand at MV and make the game as if it were a classic FF-styled game. Either way, I'll have to remake all of the original sprites and environments somehow for 2D. I've got plenty of tilesets and a manual character generator I can use that's for MV that came out on RPGMakerWeb (that I can also convert to VX Ace), but I'm not sure yet which way I want to go for engines. I'm definitely leaning towards MV and the game re-imagined as a side-view classic FF game, if only because I can render the game in HD resolutions and also the plugins for the battle system out there are great.
Go with the idea you are more passionate about. That usually results in a great game, because it provides plenty of motivation to work hard on it. I'm looking forward to seeing how you would deal with an alternate universe FF Tactics. A couple of different choices made by several characters (particularly Ramza and Delita) could've changed the entire course of the game.

That's my feeling as well. One choice made different could alter the entire perspective of the game. I've decided, too, that it's going to be re-imagined as a classic FF series type of game. So once I've got a basis for the game done, I'll be putting out a call for anyone interested in helping with graphical assets. This is going to be a massive project for sure, and one I'm very, very passionate about doing right.

I finally defeated the bonus dungeon on Ultra difficulty:

I started the dungeon at Lvl 80. IMO, the hardest boss was the Mana Beast! He is caveman strong and doesn't let up. He's also very fast and Protect/Blink doesn't do any good against him. Immune to ailments too. I did enjoy the challenge overall. Great job on including so many bosses from other games.

All in all, playing this game was a wonderful experience. The story and gameplay were solid. The story had a more mature twist to it (which was very welcome IMO). Battles (especially boss battles) were amazingly balanced and required quite a bit of strategy on Ultra difficulty. I enjoyed the ending and everything about the game kept true to the spirit of FFIV.

My only gripes are:

1. No Exit spell. I got tired of having to backtrack through dungeons. This spell was present in the original game and was inexplicably absent in this game. I don't know if Ace was able to handle something of the sort, but that spell was sorely missed.

2. Bugs. I know there is no way to avoid bugs entirely, but there were too many gamebreaking ones present. There were several teleporter issues that wouldn't have been a problem if I had an Exit spell ;P. Luckily, I keep plenty of backup saves in tow so I didn't have too much of a problem with it. This game could've definitely benefited from some good ole fashioned beta testing. Early on, it literally felt like I was beta testing instead of playing and enjoying the game. If it weren't for my hectic work schedule, I'd have gladly been a tester for this game.

Again, thanks for spending the time to make this game and sharing it with the community. I would definitely be interested in playing any of your future projects. I really do hope you go through with an alternate version of FF Tactics, as that is one of my favorite games in the series, especially storywise. Great job Sphere!

Thank you for the compliment and I'm glad you enjoyed the game! =D As for the Teleport/Exit Spell, I did try implementing it but it caused so many glitches with other scripts and a major issue during battle (a confused Cecil casted it and glitched out everything lol) that I gave up on trying to get it to work. I missed it too though, totally agree with you on that.

As for the bugs? I totally own that. I realize I should've asked for beta-testers before releasing, but hindsight is 20/20 and honestly, I felt that I needed "dev cred" before asking anyone for something like that. I felt I needed to prove I could create and complete a game before I made inquiries like that, since this is my first game and all. I know, probably a failing on my part, but I've always had this thing where I need to earn the respect of my peers before asking for them to assist me in something. Anyway, yeah that's on me. I'm just glad that the bugs are ironed out in the definitive version, and you were a major help in that regard and I do thank you. =) I'll be sure to ask for help for my next project when it comes to testing.

Thanks for the feedback, and I'm really glad you enjoyed yourself with the game. I really learned a lot with the whole process, so I'm much better prepared for the next project. I hope to do something with FF Tactics, as it's also one of my favorite games in the series and the story is just SO amazing.

Got ERROR game won't load-- Script input EX "Line 703"
Runtime ERROR occured.
can't load libary: xinput1_3

what does that mean??

That's a new one on me. Looks like you don't have a particular driver installed on your system for XInput controllers or something along those lines. Apparently this is an issue for a few other people with other games as well (Triple A in this case). I've looked it up, and found this - http://steamcommunity.com/app/287700/discussions/0/527274088398027963/

Granted that's for Metal Gear V, but the problem is the same for you. I would first reinstall Direct X (or upgrade to the latest version if you don't have it already). If that doesn't work, then you may want to consider finding the xinput1_3.dll file and copying it into the appropriate folder, or trying the steps listed in the link above and see what combination works for you.

That would be the AAA boss yep, it's a bit of a challenge to say the least. And you're right where you need to be, but keep in mind, it's still a rare battle so it may take some time. Good luck! =)

I`ve beaten the game and now on to the bonus d .This game is a real gem.So good and fun to play.
I wonder what is required to wake up the comagirl?

Glad you enjoyed it! =)

Spoilers ahead!

To wake her up, you need to defeat all of the opponents in the Arena, which is hidden beneath Troia's pub. You'll need to purchase a Member's Writ from the NPC in there to access it.
